Showcases for Photographers

As one of an ever growing group of photographers that market to the women on eccie in the business services section I was wondering if it's possible for us to have a showcase added to our accounts or can we have a verified service provider status or something along those lines to make it easier for the women here to know who is legit and see our work?

After reading some of the suggestions by other board members but seeing a lack of response from the mods and people that oversee/administer the site I have to wonder if this forum is even read or paid attention to by anyone other than those of us that post suggestions.

So my ModelMayhem account isn't good enough. lol

I would put up a showcase if the option existed.

I think is is a great idea. It would make it so much easier for us providers to find reputable photographers in our area. I think we should get as many providers as possible to join this cause and maybe we can get something done about it.

This is a great idea. I mentioned to a provider a while back that I used to shoot models as a hobby and a way of meeting pretty girls (who at the time were near my age). She just about jumped at the idea of a shoot. It seems like great advertising. I would be down.

I hope others do get on the bandwagon with this idea because it will definitely help providers choose quality qualified photographers.

it would also be nice if the girls we shoot could post reviews or something similar so others would know we're legit. there's a lot of phear of pho-tards in the escort world!

Although it very important to the business of providers to have excellent pics. And finding a legit photogs is hard. I think it might be an over step for ECCIE to provide reviews and showcases for Photogs. I mean where does it stop. Do they do it for webmasters, realtors, plastic surgeons or other professions that cater to providers? I think putting your water mark on your photos and then other providers seeing your photos in the girls showcases is as close as you are gonna get.Besides that's kind of what the business services forum is, a show case of Photographers with comments from your clients (reviews).

DDBD, I so get what your saying but I think leaving this sort of thing to the sites that feature photographers to do that (showcases and reviews) is probably best. I would love it if there was a site dedicated to nothing but businesses that support the hobby.

DDBD, you have a link in your sig line that will take those interested to a lot of good info and comments from your previous and current clients. Also, you may want to consider the benefit of advertising on ECCIE. As a photographer, that option is available to you. More info can be found in the thread at this link:

With the number of providers that say they had no idea the business services section was there it they wish they could sort through the people to find a photographer I was really voicing a suggestion that would benefit them as well as the photographers on this forum. As all of the respondents said, I think its a good idea, but it was just a suggestion.

@MagnificMedia some of the other sites that market to providers have a place specifically for photographers and with the ever-growing list of photographers joining this site I still contend its needed but again it was just a suggestion:

Reviews or showcases probably wouldn't be practical, because as MM pointed out, where would it stop? Your website is your BEST showcase, anyway. I mean, our provider showcases are helpful, but still limited. The real key to most successful and competitive businesses of any kind these days is a well-constructed website, the ultimate advertisement. Your photos are gorgeous and creative, DDBD, some of the best I've seen. You seem to capture the pure eroticism and joy of a woman, whether dressed or undressed.

HOWEVER, I believe that since since the Hobby is so VISUAL by it's very nature, and since photography is probably the #1 adjective service to the successful presentation of a provider (that well-constructed website has to include attractive and illustrative imagery), having a separate area (a sub-forum, perhaps?) to highlight the art and distinguish it from the numerous non-graphic business services lumped together would be beneficial, and a compromise between what you want and what ECCIE might actually consider.

As you've indicated, this is a rapidly growing field, and the number of our viewfinder-talented ECCIE members will rise. There are enough photographers to fill a shutterbug forum up on a national level. MANY gentlemen would no doubt enjoy viewing such a forum, too. I agree that companions such as I would find it quite useful to have all of our photographic options/examples together without other commercial interruption so that we can more easily compare styles.
