Offcial " Barter " threads? i

I have seen a great deal of services offered in exchange for services Ive also seen numerous items such as best buy cards, sports and concert tix, gift cards to various locations, etc. I think it would be cool to have official barter threads or perhaps a sticky in each regional ISO section...

I agree. I have been wanting to inquire if anyone was needing any accounting or financial help? I do bookkeeping and tax work and would like to help anyone who needs it. Wasn't exactly sure where I could post such a question.

It might be beneficial for you to contact one of the mods in your local area about this. Since the forums in this section covers all of ECCIE, both national and international, it would be difficult to keep the barter threads pertinent to local area it would be intended for.

I would state that you start a thread in the Requests/ISO forum of the locality where you wish to engage in bartering. Others have done so over the years and have had success with it.

Mokoa... can we propose a sticky in ISOs so that the swappings and tradings could be kept in one manageable superthread? I think it would be amazing to peek at the items and biz services offered but have only one thread in the isos actually address it. May I start a thread now and entitle it official barter\swap\services etc.... yay or nay?

No, I would not do that. Any barter request is its own topic and therefor needs to be in its own thread. To have all barter requests in one thread would make it more difficult to zero in on a particular request and follow the activity for that one request. No, it is better to keep each request in its own thread. That way you will not have to go through all that chaff to get to the grain you are looking for.

A separate section would be best otherwise the ISO/Request is going to be nothing but advertisements of ladies who are willing to except merchandise or services instead of cash. Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of the ISO section?
