Does the hobby vernacular ever sneak into your RL?

... Like telling a friend, "my (wife/so) gave me a sloppy BBBJ and let me DATY until the sun came up!"

Providers / hobbyists, do you ever slip into hobby speak accidentally?? Or intentionally?
Hmm I dont think so I think my real issue is seeing words we use here in Real Life situations and thinking dirty things.

I cant drive past a greek restaurant without laughing to myself.

I see a signs like on the air compressor at a gas station that says:

"$.75 for 3 minutes"

... and just think.... "If only!"

Or when your at start bucks and the lady asks you if you would like half and half or cream
I've actually been meaning to ask a similar question. I was out on a date with a guy I met in real life at a restaurant. He asked me out and we met for drinks.

So, during the date, the topic of girls "working the bar" at certain places came up. Nothing odd about that, but instead of calling them hookers, escorts, call girls, prostitutes, etc...he called them "PROVIDERS!" I've never heard that terminology in real life. Am I wrong to assume he's a "hobbyist?"
The media often mentions the word Provider when addressing BP stings. I would give him the benefit of the doubt.

Now the word Greek, everyone in my circle knows of what I'm talking about without suspicion. I have to thank a friend from Bulgaria for that one. Apparently they also refer to it as Greek (only in an insulting way). I asked him what the Greeks thought about that or what the called it. He laughed and stated they call it The Bulgarian. I assume that he was joking.
I've wondered if I could get a personal license plate past the screeners at DPS that says, "DATY24/7."
I once heard a friend of my das describe a girl as "such a spinner type" at a holiday party...I nearly choked on my eggnog I was trying so hard not to laugh!

While the news uses the terms hobbyist/providers, it's always with a snide tone referring to people in the hobby using the term. Example:

OldestProfession2.0: A new generation of local "providers" and "hobbyists" create a virtual red-light district
