Not seeing updates on any forums

When I sign on, none of the forums show any new posting or updates but when I view a thread in a forum I can see that some new posts have been made. I've not seen any posts about this problem. Is it a system issue or do I need to adjust some settings? Anyone else having this problem?

this has happened before but usually gets resolved in a few hours. This time it's been going on for well over 2 days. Anyone else seeing any improvements?
