Newbie needs help with screening

Believe it or not this is my first time at this. The providers go through a screening process and I completely understand the need. Problem, I cannot give references (new at this) and prefer not to plaster my stats and photos on P411. How can I get started? I am sure that I am not the only one with this problem.

Newbies on both sides takes a lil time, as I am a new provider and understand this. Which everyone here started one time or another. You can go to reviews and look for Newbie Friendly providers, look for one that interest you and if she has good review that would be a good start. I as a new provider learning and have seen newbies just remember all of us are scared of putting ourselves out there but its better to be safe than sorry. I believe this site has alot of great info and ppl.Happy Hunting

It means well-known providers.

Be screened. If you don't have references say so. There is more than one way to be screened and each lady screens differently.
i have sent you a pm check it and we can go from there.
I don't know what area you are desiring nor what type lady you are interested in but I am newbie friendly and would love to see you darlin'!

If you like, give me a shout sometime and we'll figure it out for you...

Personally, I find services like P411 or date-check are not in MY best interest. I'm sure they are fine services run by people looking to help both clients and providers. I have several issues with these services. First, there is no standards when it comes to providers. Some are on P411 or accept P411 screened clients. Same holds true for other services. The problem is the majority of providers don't use these services. If you exclusively rely on a screening service to find a provider, you are limiting your selection by a considerable amount. Secondly, in order to be "accepted" by one of these agencies, you have to reveal a lot of personal information. For me, that is something I am un-willing to accept especially when it comes to the "all or nothing" approach in terms of giving up info. Finally, these are pay services. You have to consider that into the equation as well. Again, I'm not trashing these services-- just pointing out I have a preference not to use them.

As to finding "newbie" friendly providers, the advice given so far is spot on. Do the research. There are dozens of "review" boards/provider contact sites out there. Use them. But as mentioned before, stay away from CL or BP unless the providers there can be cross referenced with another more reputable provider advertising site. Good places to start are here (obviously), the Erotic Review, Escorts.com, BigDoggie, Eros and the many regional boards.

The best advice is to find a few providers you are interested in seeing. It doesn't matter if the specifically mention being "newbie" friendly. The point is to select those you want to see and find out as much info about them as possible. Read reviews, check their rates, view their photos, read their FAQs, etc. Get to know them and THEN contact them in a cordial/professional manner. Be honest with them and about your status as a newbie. If the provider(s) have a screening process, see if it fits your personal style. If it is too onerous, be up front and tell them you feel uncomfortable going through the process. They may simply let you go, or the provider may "relax" their process to accommodate you. The key is honest communication. The bottom line is this. I think most providers (ladies back me up here) rely on their first gut instinct on whether or not to "accept" a client. While I'm not a newbie at this, I was at one time. I didn't have references and wasn't (still not) willing to give out too much personal information. I did my research. I honestly expressed myself to providers. I maintained an honest line of communication. I don't know what your situation is. You have to go with what you think will work best for you. I'm just telling you what worked for me.
I have to agree with what everyone is saying so far. I strive to make the provider as comfortable as possible, but if I cannot do that, I accept it and keep looking. I participate so infrequently, that I cannot provide references in most cases. I am also not really comfortable with services like P411. Partly because I don't want that much personal information stored even semi-publicly. Sure there is security, but no security is perfect. Sure, I'm sure all of this information is available out there somewhere, but I cannot do anything about that. I can do something about this.

So, what I do.... I make my first choice. I make contact and am completely honest up front. I'm usually willing to proved anything they ask for. I have not yet been asked for something that I am unwilling to provide, at least. If they say, "sorry, no exceptions," then I move on. If someone was to ask for something I'm not willing to provide, then I would politely tell them, "sorry, I can't give you that," and I'd be willing to move on. Since it's never come up, I cannot speak to the possibilty of the provider changing her mind about it. I have not yet been turned down, but then again, I'm not all that active.

My advice... Be polite. Make your first choice, contact her and let her know about your situation. If you can work things out, then you will (hopefully,) have one reference for future use. If you cannot work things out, then go looking for your second choice. The key here is, 1) Be polite & 2) Be willing to take NO for an answer.

  1. P411 is located in Canada and not subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the US for service of process.
  2. All you need to give P411 to get screened is to provide work information, the names of two providers who can vouch for you. P411 checks w/ the providers and verifies your work info, then shreds the results. They don't keep any record other than your P411 ID and email address. If you don't trust the internet, this can be done over the phone.
  3. There are very many ways you can pay for P411 access (I used an anonymous money order). Once screened, P411 gives you the 1st 6 months access for free.
  4. Even though not all providers belong to P411, most accept P411 for screening. I can only assume that they have arrangements w/ other providers to check client IDs for them. The riskier of them will not check the client ID.
  5. If you don't have P411, most careful providers will require you to give up your real ID. With P411, you remain anonymous to each provider you see. This is prefereable to both parties. Especially if you both have something to lose by having your IDs made public. And yes, I've seen a provider or two that tries to keep this part of their world very secret. No pics, no way to ID, no reviews.

The shielding that P411 affords me is preferred to revealing my real ID to every lady I see. Yes, I was skeptical at first, but I am now a believer. You should go to the website and read their FAQs, or, better yet, email Gina, who owns the site. It may take her a couple of days to get back to you, but her communication skills are excellent. Also, the site has a live advisor. You may want to just IM with them. Happy trails.
If you exclusively rely on a screening service to find a provider, you are limiting your selection by a considerable amount.
In Texas alone there is 847 providers list, Nevada 185, and Alaska 4, so if you are only going to hobby in Alaska I see that you might be limited, unless you are going to see about numbers of at least 200 a year, then you might have a problem with limited selection.

The number of list providers increase daily, I remember when P411 start and I joined there were estimated 30 providers in Texas list at that time, and Nevada had only 1. The odds get better each day.

When I am looking for someone new, and I see that she accepts P411, then the ease of the appointment screening to me is null. I have 13 plus verifications and if that is not acceptable to the provider in question, then we don't need to see each other anyway. I had very had one bad ordeal with P411 and have never heard anyone that uses the services have troubles.

Gina is about the most professional person that I have ever encountered in the hobby, very personable and delivers what the service that is expected.

The time saved is worth the little amount of monies that it cost, unless you don't value your time as money. I value her ability to provide security that sells her product.
I also have to agree with the advice you have gotten.P411 and Date Check are good ways to go.But like it was said before, there are places where providers don't use those services.Like,in Portland where I am from;it's not that providers don't want to use it~the guys don't want to pay for the service so it's not a popular thing to use there.
If there are local boards that you can use and find a good provider there, and you don't want to use P411 or whatever, that would be the best way to go.And as far as CL or BP,there are some great girls on there........I'm one of them.

They state that once verified, they destroy your personal info. I tend to believe them. It's s good business practice for them as they do not need to hold onto it. You are giving up much more personal info by logging on here and posting than you will with p411.

Without references, you will be stuck in AMP/BP/CL mode for quite sometime.

Right now, Houston has 244 providers on p411. Most of them provide great service and are well known. CL has about 300, most are fake pic, fly by night, take the money and run non GFE types. In my estimation, only 10% would be worth seeing. One time TOFTT'ing it will pay for 2 years of p411! hard to see how it's not worth the money over time.
Plus, it's national. For travelers, it would afford you much better chances of being seen by a providers than a very local or regional board that you are big on.

As already stated, many girls may not belong to the site, but have friends that are, and will have them check you out. This may not be kosher per the site, but it is done.

When I was trying to start hobbying, I found a known provider that was also a full service massage therapist. I booked a massage which allowed me to then venture into the extras during the session. Massage therapists don't need verification because they can simply not offer extras if they don't feel comfortable and you are booking a massage anyways. So because she was a known provider, after the session I asked if she would let me use her as a reference. I am grateful to her helping me get my credentials.

From that first massage/extras meeting, I then found a lady that took that single reference. Now I had two and things got easier there. A couple years ago, I took a long hiatus (several years). When was ready to start again, I made sure that I found an active provider that was friends with one of my now very old references (figured if they advertised doing doubles that they were friends or at least friendly). Once I got the provider vouches, I then was able to get P411, which has proved valuable.

Something that I did and always do now. I usually give a gift (not money) that is unique and therefore she can remember me. I also seem to have a knack of booking on really bad weather days (not intentionally) but it has made it easy to point to a meeting even quite some time later. And last, I make sure that I mention my user name on whatever site I post on.

I do concur that you should look through the forums here and make sure, whatever route you take, you use a lady that is known or it won't help your cause. I understand the wanting to keep privacy, I have too many conservative clients in my business. I couldn't get P411 originally because of being an independent contractor - no employer to check up on.
