How do I use the ignore button?

Where is the ignore button and what does it do?

Hopefully it blocks all postings from a certain individual.

Go to the user's profile and click on User Lists > Add to Ignore List. It will replace each of the user's posts with a placeholder--you will still see that there was a post, but the text will be hidden.
