The FBI seems to be able to identify and intercept a few crazies who plotted to kidnap the Governor of Michigan. They seem to b able to figure out who rioted violently at the Capitol and who planned it. Why can't they figure out who is responsible for the property destruction and violence in Portland, Seattle, Chicago and elsewhere across the land?

There is a perception by the Trumpites that the information they get via social media and blatantly alt-right news sources are somehow bound by ethics or truth, even though they’ve got to know it’s mostly bullshit.

So much of their anger is based on things “people are saying,” just like their failed leader.

So much of what they now believe about BLM, Antifa and Trump for that matter, is based on carefully crafted lies, fueled by deep seated racism and xenophobia and the erosion of white privilege.

It’ll be a long time before the people of this country entrust the reins of government to an ill-informed, gleefully ignorant mob again.

Therein lies the Republican dilemma.
