insurance car registration suspension

Apparently some states are more strict than others. If your car liability insurance lapses in some states, they will fine you and if long enough, will take away your plates and registration. Also suspend your license in some cases. Other states, if you don't drive your car, and just renew your insurance when you start driving it ,they don't care.
