~Steeler Pit Stop~

I have found myself stopping in Pittsburgh while I am on my "Gypsy" Journey.

What are the best places to eat in town? Are there any Mom & Pop Breakfast Spots?

What is there to see or do on my PGH adventures?

I love to explore and I have my Fur Baby with me so any place I can take him and burn some energy is greatly appreciated!

Gab n eat in carnegie is my go to breakfast. The place is a dump but the food is beyond great

David's Diner in springdale is awesome...depending on what part of town you'll be at

the Chuck Wagon in Centerville, washington county. great breakfast.

Have you tried a Primantis sandwich yet? If not, it’s the quintessential burgh sandwich… I prefer the Pittsburgher, the #2 ordered menu item.

Any of the Pamela restaurants around town (Millvale, Strip District, Squirrel Hill) are good for breakfast. If in Millvale, get the ‘big Lincoln’.

Morcilla is fantastic if you like Tapas.

Agree with Fbill, DT in Greentree is a massive hotel, busy all the time. Was probably quite the place back in the day, but the hotel is starting to show her age. Wrong time of year, but they have a very nice pool you could turn some heads at.

Thank you, Dolomite! I actually remembered after Fbill mentioned it. I just couldn't remember all the areas.

I hate being in hotels, but being that I am traveling till my home is ready in late November I have to use them.
