Encryption on site

I assume https means the communications between me and server are encrypted.
But what about the data stored on the server like private messages and comments in forums?
Is everything stored on the site encrypted? If someone hacked the site and everything is encrypted they would go away empty handed as far as gleaning information for whatever purpose.

One reason I ask is several sites recently have had data breaches where data was stolen because it was stored clear text in logs or places nobody thought to encrypt. I would think any adult site where adult discussions of a private nature may be shared would have every little nook and cranny encrypted. Seeking verification the operators of this site have considered this and followed through.
Passwords are hashed. Eccie uses a very awful hashing algorithm. There have already been reported vulnerabilities on Eccie. Until a day ago. All requests to and from the server were publicly available. These logs enabled attackers to map IP addresses to users, and map every URL visited to said user. But that's not the worst of it, Eccie had SSL misconfigurations (transit encryption problems) which means passwords and much more was all in plain view.
That was not my Post....Tge person that posted in my name above has hacked my account. I wish the MODS would take care of this.
