Thanks to fine gents of Amarillo for the warm welcome

I just wanted to thanks for the warm welcome I received yesterday when I arrived in Amarillo.

It is Thursday evening and I would like to get some recommendations on where to go this evening to have some drinks and good food. I would like to know if there is a place where the locals go to have a drink. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Macaroni Joe's is good quiet italian food. There are several places on polk street that get hopping after 5. Rain is popular and napoli's downtown.
