Travel Tips Wanted

Hey y'all,

I am considering taking a quick trip to New Mexico, from Midland for a weekend visit in New Mexico. I noticed that I will be driving through El Paso, and after seeing it so many times on Live Pd, I am just a little cautious about driving my blonde ass through there lol. Is there a check point, like in the valley? Is gas cheaper going towards New Mexico, or should I fill up as much as possible in Midland? Should I stop for snacks, or is that not safe? I hate to sound ignorant. I've just never driven that way by myself lol

Thanks for listening,

You guys are sweethearts.

Love,

Kelly
stop by el paso, theres nothing scary about this place...its one of the safest cities in the U.S. and gas is pretty cheap over here all the way down to 1.94 (that ive seen)...im sure plenty of guys here in EP wouldnt mind having you as company.
Kelly, gas is definitely cheaper in El Paso.Speed limit is 80 mph about 25 miles west of Odessa. You can drove it in 4 hours. Be safe.

El Paso dangerous. Not any more dangerous then Midland or Odessa. The food is wonderful, especially if you go local. Stay awhile.. I am sure a few of us would be interested in meeting you. Drive safe.
Why would you be driving threw El Paso to get to New Mexico from midland that doesn’t make any since to me what part of New Mexico I’ve been to El Paso RobinHood knows me and any town that you are going to in New Mexico pm me your questions if I can help I will
LoL, so because we are on live pd we are not safe? Too funny. TM... of course if she is coming from Midland she will pass thru el paso... El Paso is the last city (Anthony TX doesn't count lol) before you hit the land of entrapment enchantment sorry lol

Use Hotels.com or Yahoo travel to see the available of rooms because of different events can booked up. Also research shopping and food places that are close, so you don't have to take a lot time.

Get Gas buddy app....to see what fuel prices, and also check the weather to see what you need to pack clothes wise.
Fsct: El Paso is the safest large city in the United States. By quite a bit.

Fact: It looks like El Paso is the 7th safest big city in America. Still not bad. Just stay on the right side of the border because Juarez is the 7th most dangerous city in Mexico.

I was headed to the Southern part? I just don't put my exact travel plans on here?

Thanks dear, but I'm good lol. My GPS and old school road map helped me just fine.

This city is AMAZING! The food, and the view? It's gorgeous. I wish more people
would come check it out. It's worth seeing for sure!

Thank you for the tips fellas
