scheduling with us providers

Okay...
So I am not the one to really complain about much, but I feel this i happening WAY too much.
All week I have been running into hobbyists making appointments with me and scheduling a time. The date would come up at the time we had agreed on and they are late. No call or anything. After waiting a half hour for a call or a show, I schedule someone else. Then if they knew, I get a call saying they are on the way and something came up. I politely say I can not see them now and explain why. AND THEY GET MAD AT ME???? wtf? but any ways... getting off track...
All I want to say to the hobbyists, please, when scheduling an appointment with one of our providers, please keep the date. And if by chance something does come up, let us know so we can move on.
I guess I am a little irked that this is happening and the inconsideration of some people.

licks and kisses to all.. sorry but if this hasnt happened to me all week with several different people I wouldnt have to say anything cause I am a very understanding person.

This happens on both avenues. I don't know HOW many times this has happened to me with a provider. Most recently with kitkat. I and probably most of us on here have had this happen a dozen or so times.
i think the thing i want portrayed the most in my post... lets have consideration on each end... and have open communication between the parties.

Agreed! Whole-heartedly agreed. That's why I always call if I'm running late or have to cancel. It's a common curtsy thing.

Ms lvs,

That's the story of San Antonio. San Antonio time. Part of the charm of this town.

That is what we should have. I don't think saying "san antoino time" is a valid excuse - isn't san antonio also known for treating people well too?

I'm psycho about scheduling and punctuality and in general, no matter what the appointment, I'm one of those people who feels late if Im not 10 mins early. I know the rest of the world doesn't work my way and tend to end up paying the price for my dilligence regularly by having to wait and/or reschedule around other people's lack of foresight (not specifically providers, life in general).
I strive to be patient, flexible, and understanding so rarely let it bother me, kinda consider the rest of the world being an hour or so behind me as par for the course.
Obviously "real life happens" has become my mantra. What fun would life be if it were too predictable?
