Twin Lakes Golf Course Closing End of July...

If anyone loves to play golf go check this place out before it closes. It is in Canton Tx off of 19 in between Canton and Athens. It is closing down the end of July 2017..

Supposably expanding the tree farm from what I understand

Wonder why they wouldn't expand out on the west side of the road across Hwy 19. However, they could be up against neighbors that don't want to sell. Plus, it's possible there is more profit in trees than in a golf course. Trees don't have to have employees there all the time.

I read do to the expenses of keeping it up and running is one reason.
If the right person would have been in charge of marketing it could have been used for so many things. Weddings, proms, fitness center, a nice weekend restaurant like steak and seafood.
