There are several good places to eat and a few good music venues and some good bars. Hipster artsy bar in the Fondren Arts District: Apothecary. Another bar in that area is Fondren Public. Late nite live music venue with food is F Jones Corner they close around 5 am. For a downtown bar/cigar shop check out 4th Avenue. Plenty of food place from junk to somewhat upscale dining.
