Most of us providers get regular manicures/pedicures....BUT how many of you guys do???

I used to have a "foot phobia"..I hate ugly feet{lol}.......but lately I find myself being entranced with feet.....I like it when a client who comes to see me has pretty feet and toes!
I enjoy massaging my client's feet if they are well taken care of...It is a great stress reliever!!

So my question to you men out there....have you ever or would you ever get a manicure/pedicure???

And have you ever had a foot massage???Do you like them??
manicure/pedicure: not a problem for me. I'll pass on the foot massage, not into it.

lol--so true April!
pretty nails & feet are essential when hobbying

{hell I have even been known to wash a guys feet when he comes over...lol
I've had a couple of pedis, but the last one left my big toe infected. Haven't had one since. However, I highly recommend a foot massage. Better than the pedi. I'm ticklish, but the foot massage is highly relaxing.

Not to sound shovonist (spelled wrong) or anything but does any of the other men here find getting regular pedicures and manicures kind of ...metrosexualish. I'm talking regularly not just once.

I never had a pedicure or manicure, but my nailsbeds and hands are of a healthy pinkish hue free of hard callouses and such. Im not totally opposed to getting a manicure, but I dont have workers hands and since most of those parlors are filled with woman....if I was open to it regularly it would have to be in a more secluded environment as most of those places are kinda fru fru and catered to ladies ambience wise.

As far as pedicures, same scenerio as above; but its definitely something of a stretch regularly. But also doing my job I do quite a lot of walking in addition to normal exercise which includes running. You build a natural callous on your feet sometimes when you are active and sometimes getting a pedicure can make your feet more prone to having hotspots, decreasing your performance.

nothing metrosexual about good hygeine!{lol}...And as far as foot massages,Chef babe...come over and let me "practice" on you!!
I'm a sucker for a nice foot massage, even a bad one is nice. Maybe we can do a "69" foot massage thing. When I get back to NOLA, book it!--along with quite a few other things.
I wouldnt say I get pedicures regularly, but I like a take a special friend of mine to the Spa every other week because she enjoys it, and I dont hesitate to jump in and get a pedicure. Someone massaging my feet for an hr is a good thing.

I have never done a manicure, so I cant comment on that, but I'm not against it. Her and I usually alternate the Spa and massages every weekend, not too bad for her if you think about it, but my wallet takes a beating. LOL

Cheers

I did one pedicure and will not do it again. I like good hygiene prolly a little too much, but I have a bad foot and it was rebuilt and my foot arches upward and to everyone looking at it, it would seem to be tense but that is the relaxed position. The lady doing the pedicure kept pushing my toes down and it hurt. I asked to stop and shwoed her the surgical scars and she did not care insisted on having my foot down. So, I had a bad experience and have not been back. My foot is not gross but because of accident it is somewhat unsightly, Nikki Tylor gave me a foot massage once and she could see how I was a little nervous, so she stopped she also felt the and noticed some the deformation. So, pedicures maybe just not for me, but there are other parts of my body I enjoy having rubbed and massaged!!! Some parts of my anatomy will even stand tall to let you know the massage is enjoyable.

lol--Outdoors babe...you are so cute!!
{I will be glad to give you a foot massage!}
I am grossed out by pedicures in ways that I could not even begin to talk about. Plus, I find them to be pretty painful myself. However, they're necessary for the purpose of vanity. For the record I've done TONS of pedis for men from all walks of life; it's not gay.

Maybe its just my age group and is more universally accepted for older gents or guys who are more prone to having more use for them regularly.

Well....Hummmm...Without a Lisp i can proudly say that I get a Pedi Manicure several times a year.... They remove callous from my feet (kind of hard to do yourself) and do my fingernail beds as well... looks sharp!! Nor ready for polish yet, nor am I worried about being gay (I am often Happy Though)...LOL
