provider's top 5 clients.....

pmdelites's Avatar
remember that thread?
and remember my honest offer to setup eccieDude@yahoo.com so women could send their top 5 list anonymously?
and remember my saying that only one woman responded?

well, rather than post them and allow someone to spelunk and attempt to figure out who she is ....

no listings here.

i'll keep the email acct open in case any other woman cares to share.
i swear that i will NOT reveal any woman's name or correlate her list w/ her.

if ever there were a misbegotten venture... it shouldn't have taken more than three brain cells to figure that providers would see no upside to this...

just cos you guys dont think it is a deliteful idea w/ any upside, think again.
it was a way for some women to anonymously thank their favs.
if you take chevalier's post [in the thread ref'd below] at pixel value, he even thinks so.

and besides, i didnt come up with the idea, prolongus did, and i just took it a bit further. he even supported my extension.
Hey providers...how about a "Top Client" list?
http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=152710

and how come when some folks come up with similar ideas, they get shot down w/ a phrase or two?? isnt this a place for rational adult discussion??
oh, sorry wrong forum. :^)

Second, because a lady could tell 30 different guys they were among her 5 favorite clients, and none of them would know that she was stretching the truth.

You're talking more about "anonymous" rather than "private" -- posting a list publicly but using a cut-out (you) to avoid our knowing whose list it is. [It also depends on the ladies trusting you, and unless they know you very, very well . . . why should they? Nothing personal; I'd say the same thing about them trusting me.] That avoids the problem of offending her other clients, as long as they can't tell who Lady A is. But what's the upside to that list? It may make a guy who is listed feel good, but he doesn't know who specifically it was that felt that way about him. More importantly, what's the benefit to the lady of preparing such a list? The benefit to the lady under my conception of "private" was the ego-stroke -- a lady tells me (privately) I'm one of her top 5, I feel good about that, and as a result I may be more inclined to see her again or more frequently. (Or maybe not.) But if you post a list by an anonymous lady that includes my name . . . who will receive the benefit if I don't know who stroked my ego??? I might guess it was by someone entirely different, and the benefit might accrue to one of her competitors. So, why should she bother? Far better for her to privately tell those 5 guys (or 30 ) that they're her favorites.

On top of which, I personally think "top 5 favorite client" lists are kind of silly. We should be secure enough about ourselves that we don't need that sort of affirmation. The vast, vast majority of the ladies I've seen -- including most of my regulars/favorites -- would not put me in their top 5. So what? A "top 5 favorite client" list fuels a competitive spirit about something that shouldn't be competition. A lady's preference for Joe, Frank, Ed, Phil, and Matt doesn't mean she won't show me a good time or won't value/appreciate me. It's nice to hear, and ladies are welcome to tell me if I am one of their favorites, but I don't worry about it if they don't.

If you want to pursue the project, I have no objection. Have at it. But I'm not endorsing it per se either.

I don't think my top 5 clients want to receive p.m.s from a lot of guys asking for their mo. ;-)

Plus y'all are forgetting that the majority of members on this board don't have any presence at all~ maybe have a handful of posts or maybe have never posted at all!

I like it the other way around.
