WHERE THE %$# IS MY SHOWCASE BIO!???!
I was editing my Showcase. I SAVED it. I did not delete it! It said it was SAVED! However, my entire biography/About Me has disappeared! Everything that anybody needed to know about me and my services, a great deal of time and hard work is GONE! PLEASE tell me that can it be recovered, please!!!???
I did everything right, so what what the f--k happened? ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
It appears to be in place
With the long biography section? An entire page of copy detailing packages, strawberry allergy alert, etc.? Nothing but a blank spot is showing to me. I am literally panic-stricken, as I don't have a saved copy. My computer tanked recently, and I was getting ready to back this up as soon as I completed the edit! I will never be able to recreate it entirely. YEARS in the making!
Again, ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Nope .... bio is gone :-(
Looks like it's there to me?

ECCIE evidently has no server back-up that saves individual Showcases/Bios/About Me sections once deleted, even if by a malfunction. That comes as no surprise, really, as the site only has a responsibility to its own format and forums. From what I've been told, it's not possible to recover my lost copy.
I'm just SOL. Years of rewrites since 2009 to perfect my "promotional brochure" to target a specific audience looking for a particular type of companion have gone down the drain. I hope other providers take note and constantly back up their work every time they edit. (What I was about to do before a %$#@* Internet snafu intervened. Only solution I've come up with is damnable gremlins.)
I am completely disgusted and have to step away before I fling the computer through a window or disable my account in a fit of temper. Both seem like good options right now.
There are homeless people 2 blocks away from you. A deleted bio is not that bad dear...take a deep breath...a chilled shot of vodka...then rub one out. It's hard to be angry after an orgasm...

But yeah, I understand. (As someone who spent a majority of her pre-Hobby life writing for a living, I found this particularly frustrating and maddening. My teasing treatise was not the stereotypical provider two-sentence "stick it HERE" paragraph, but a decadent dissertation!) Been a rough week. (Bad things happen in tandem, or so I have found. Damn lazy leprechauns are on vacation with my luck again.) I need a sanity break and am going to take this weekend "off the grid." I hear the call of a fruity drink with a paper umbrella on the sand... Maybe sex on the beach?

Packing a bag. I'll regroup and resurrect the Showcase bio on Tuesday, but I'd still like to know what the bleep happened.
I would be bummed too. I actually read through it all and it was an impressive brochure. I always keep copies of everything. Won't do you any good now, but helpful in the future. Have you tried googling yourself? Sometimes other sites steal ad information and I have come across some of my own that way.
Thanks, ladies.
I did have a fairly recent copy of my Showcase/Bio stored on my old computer, Katie, but it went belly up not long ago. (Lightening strike fried my household surge protector and several electronics. Guess I should thank the lousy leprechauns that I didn't have a fire! Mother Nature is such a bitch. She and I have had severe disagreements before.) Hadn't gotten around to saving the latest version on my new machine. I was going to do that today, but the best laid plans of mice, men, and tarts...
I'll back up the back up every week henceforth.
I know what you mean about sites stealing info. I Google my name every so often just to see who has "borrowed" what. Never found anything lifted from my more secure ECCIE Showcase, however, just from ads, which aren't protected from right-click reproduction. I'll use the abbreviated verbiage from my P411 profile to jump start, but there will still be large gaps I'll have to fill in. My ECCIE infomercial took the place of my old website, so was really complete. This is my primary pleasurable play place, after all.
Heck, it was too long, anyway.
Don't get too "backed up" ....
