Hunter Biden finally admits infamous laptop is his

Do you remember there were still a few ill-informed leftists here who even after all the evidence, still questioned whether the laptop was Hunter's.

Well now they no longer have any excuses

So much for, the laptop “could be” mine.

First son Hunter Biden’s lawyers admitted late Wednesday that the infamous laptop the now-52-year-old abandoned at a Delaware computer repair shop in the throes of his ******** addiction does indeed belong to him.

The revelation came in a petulant letter from Hunter’s lawyers seeking a criminal probe into what they called, attempts to “weaponize” its contents.

In the 14-page letter to Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings, Biden attorney Abbe Lowell claimed that repair shop owner John Paul Mac Isaac “unlawfully” accessed Hunter’s laptop data and worked with former President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani to “weaponize” sordid and incriminating contents on it against Joe Biden.

“This failed dirty political trick directly resulted in the exposure, exploitation, and manipulation of Mr. Biden’s private and personal information,” Lowell wrote.

“Mr. Mac Isaac’s intentional, reckless, and unlawful conduct allowed for hundreds of gigabytes of Mr. Biden’s personal data, without any discretion, to be circulated around the Internet.

Mac Isaac took possession of the laptop and hard drive late in 2019 after trying and failing for months to notify Hunter that the device was ready to be picked up. Once the shop owner saw the laptop’s contents — including emails detailing influence-peddling involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and videos of the younger Biden ******** and having sex with prostitutes and his work subordinates — he alerted the FBI.

The House Oversight Committee will commence hearings next week on Hunter Biden’s alleged influence peddling, and claims he cashed in on ties to his then-vice president father to rake in millions from foreign companies, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the chairman of the panel, told the National Press Club on Monday.

Ziegler, who worked as aide to Trump trade adviser Peter Navarro and has published the laptop’s data on his Marco Polo USA website, told The Post on Wednesday that [B]the letters were a “desperate attempt” by the Biden family to get the spotlight away from “their crimes.
.
.
.
Costello told The Post that Lowell’s allegations were “ridiculous” and a sign of “desperation.”

“This letter is a ridiculous attempt to intimidate that will not succeed. It is the product of desperation by Hunter Biden because they know judgement day is coming for the Biden family,” he said.

Costello points out that Mac Isaac has a “signed work order that gives [him] authorization to examine the hard drive and the property is deemed legally abandoned after 90 days. It is the property of John Paul Mac Isaac.”

Mac Isaac said it’s no coincidence the letter from Hunter Biden’s lawyer comes just as House Republicans are ready to open probes into the president’s son.

“I think with Congress starting investigations next week, it’s a scare tactic,” Mac Isaac told The Post. “The flak is heaviest when you are over the target!”

Beginning on Oct. 14, 2020, The Post published a series of exclusive reports about the laptop’s contents, including emails proving Hunter introduced an executive of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma to his father while Joe Biden oversaw the Obama administration’s policy toward the eastern European nation.

The Latest Hunter Biden Revelation Is a New Low

Texts from Hunter Biden to a former employee obtained by the Daily Mail show that in 2019 the president’s son threatened to withhold back pay from a legal assistant unless she had sex with him on FaceTime.

The assistant, who was not named in the report, was employed by Biden’s legal firm, Owasco, for administrative work. Documents from his laptop show that the woman emailed in January 2019 asking why she had not received her paycheck for December 2018 and why her health insurance was not active.

“I will bake [sic] up for back pay,” he texted her on March 7, 2019. “You have to make up for back work.” After he sent $2,000 more, she agreed, and Biden set the terms: “The rule has to be no talk of anything but sex and we must be naked and we have to do whatever the other person asks within reason.”

babahhaahhaaaa

does Lowell know that under Delaware law the laptop becomes the property of the repair shop after 90 days? i'm betting the shop owner has the original receipt from Biden leaving the laptop to be repaired and it would prove the repair shop waited more than the legal 90 days and as i recall Mac Issac actually waited something like nearly half a year before accessing the laptop, primarily to try to determine who owned it in a final attempt to contact Hunter Biden. when he saw what was on it and who owned it of course the guy freaked. and made a copy to cover his ass with some insurance.

many people in the political forum constantly claim, falsely, that Mac Issac gave the laptop directly to Rudy Giuliani which is false. Mac Issac gave a DVD copy of the laptop to Rudy and then turned over the actual laptop to the FBI.

liberals try mightily to spin this that all the incriminating data was fabricated, especially deleted data that was restored from the DVD copy. there is one way to prove this. the FBI.

the FBI has had the laptop how long now? 3 years? not one word one way or the other from the FBI. no comment! that tells you that what news sites ranging from FOX to the NY Times have verified are real simply because the FBI refuses to comment!

the FBI had the laptop since Jan 2020 nearly a year before the November election and if they'd bothered at all to examine it (they did and knew it needed to be covered up to defeat Trump and get Biden elected!!) so they stonewalled it all. they still are stonewalling it.

a senior official under oath admitted he didn't know the current location of the laptop. since he knew he was going to be questioned about the laptop as it was the purpose of the committee meeting you'd think this dude could have made a few calls on the issue before showing up to testify?

here's my take. the laptop was ordered destroyed before it came out Mac Issac had a copy of the drive. they didn't account for that possibility and thought they could just destroy it without anything further coming of it.

then Mac Issac gives Rudy a copy and the shit hit the fan.

when President DeSantis fires half the deep state FBI someone should be going to jail for ordering the evidence destroyed.

Hunter Biden served defamation lawsuit by computer repair shop owner days before his lawyer called for criminal probes

https://nypost.com/2023/02/02/hunter...iminal-probes/

Hunter Biden was served with a defamation lawsuit by John Paul Mac Isaac last week, five days before the disgraced first son sought his own legal action against the former computer repair shop owner who came into possession of the infamous “laptop from hell.”

A private investigator hired by Mac Isaac tracked down Hunter in Culver City, Calif. on Jan. 27 to serve him with the lawsuit, which seeks damages of $1.5 million from the president’s son.

“It was very difficult to find where he was,” Mac Isaac’s lawyer Brian Della Rocca told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Thursday about attempts to smoke out Hunter Biden.

“You know, he was in DC for a couple of weeks and he was moving around. Well, we finally tracked him down and we were able to serve him last week. And now all of a sudden, we see this,” Della Rocca added, referencing letters sent out by Hunter Biden’s lawyer on Wednesday pleading for a criminal probe into Mac Isaac and others who disseminated the contents of the infamous laptop.

Mac Isaac and his lawyer allege that Hunter instructed his lawyer, Abbe Lowell, to seek a criminal investigation as payback.

“He’s trying to intimidate. And it’s interesting to me that this happened when it did,” Della Rocca told Carlson.

Mac Isaac’s lawsuit alleges that Hunter left the store owner to twist in the wind for years while variously and falsely insisting that the laptop was not his, that it had been stolen or that his information had been hacked.

Della Rocca insists that Mac Isaac became the legal owner of the laptop after Hunter Biden dropped it off to be repaired in April 2019 — but failed to return to reclaim it despite attempts by Mac Isaac to contact him.

“There could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me,” Hunter Biden told CBS News in April 2021. “It could be that I was hacked. It could be that it was then — that it was Russian intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me.”

“As a direct and proximate result of the defamatory statements by HUNTER, [Mac Isaac] has suffered, and continues to suffer, substantial damages, including the loss of his business,” the suit reads. “HUNTER had actual knowledge of the falsity of the claims and understood the high probability that injury or damage would result to [Mac Isaac] and, despite such knowledge, made the false and defamatory statement and has issued no apology to [Mac Isaac] such as would repair that damage.”

Lowell accused Mac Isaac, who owned The Mac Shop in Wilmington, Del., of “unlawfully” accessing the now-52-year-old’s personal data — a de facto admission that the laptop belonged to Hunter Biden, after years of denials and hedging.

Lowell’s targets for prosecution include Mac Isaac, former President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and Giuliani’s personal lawyer Robert Costello, all of whom Lowell accuses of attempting to “weaponize” sordid and incriminating contents on the laptop against Joe Biden.

Biden’s personal data, without any discretion, to be circulated around the Internet.”

Mac Isaac initially filed the lawsuit in May last year against Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), CNN, the Daily Beast and Politico.
Hunter Biden was added to the suit in October, and the Daily Beast was dropped from the action after the news outlet apologized for wrongly referring to the laptop as “stolen.”

Hunter Biden Claims His Laptop

And asks his dad’s government to target his critics.

Kimberley A. Strassel
Feb. 2, 2023 6:18 pm ET

Hunter Biden did some reckless things, is unhappy people found out, and so is now doing something equally reckless. Oh, and by the way, that laptop really is his.

That’s the news out of a batch of letters sent this week by Hunter’s attorneys. They are demanding federal and state prosecutors and the Internal Revenue Service launch investigations into those involved with distributing the contents of “Mr. Biden’s files” from his infamous laptop. The Washington Post amusingly framed this as a Hunter-gets-“aggressive”-with-his-critics story, relegating the real news to the 20th paragraph: “In filing the complaint, however, Biden’s lawyers seem to be conceding that some of the data that has been made public is his private information.”

Oh? The complaints are in fact an extraordinary admission that Hunter—and his father, President Joe Biden—have misled the country for years. When the New York Post on Oct. 14, 2020 (three weeks before the election) published emails that it said came from a Hunter laptop dropped off at a Delaware repair shop, the information was immediately branded Russian disinformation by the media, a claque of “former intelligence officials” and the Biden campaign. This provided a rationale for social-media companies to shut down the story despite this column’s reporting that Hunter’s own business partner—Tony Bobulinski—confirmed the authenticity of key documents on the laptop.

This week’s letters show that Hunter also knew the laptop’s contents were real—yet he continued to mislead. In an April 2021 CBS News interview, Hunter was asked point-blank: “Was that your laptop?” He said he didn’t know. Pressed further he said: “There could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me. It could be that I was hacked. It could be that it was Russian intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me.”

By floating the Russkie canard, Hunter continued to cast doubt on the information’s legitimacy.

Like son, like father. In the run-up to final presidential debate on Oct. 22, 2020, a Biden campaign official declared: “If we see tonight from Donald Trump these attacks on Vice President Biden’s family, I think we need to be very, very clear that what he’s doing here is amplifying Russian misinformation.” When Mr. Trump in that debate did bring up “the laptop from hell,” Joe Biden said it was a “bunch of garbage” and cited the “50 former national intelligence folks who said that what . . . he’s accusing me of is a Russian plan.” Mr. Biden said that more than once. His spokeswoman Jen Psaki again called the laptop story Russian disinformation in late 2021.

There are two possibilities here: Hunter misled the Biden team or his father misled the nation. Either way, it was the current occupant of the White House who fed the country “garbage.”

Now Hunter’s attorneys have sent letters to the Justice Department and Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings asking for criminal probes, including into John Paul Mac Isaac, the owner of the computer repair shop who gave the laptop to the feds and a copy of its contents to Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani. The letters complain that, “Mr. Mac Isaac’s intentional, reckless, and unlawful conduct allowed for hundreds of gigabytes of Mr. Biden’s personal data” to be circulated on the internet. That would be from Hunter’s very real laptop. The letters also demand investigations into a half-dozen political figures who accessed the laptop’s information. A separate letter requests that the IRS investigate the nonprofit status of Marco Polo, a group that published the laptop’s contents.

This is about as ill-considered as every other Hunter move—from trading on his family name to engaging in suspicious art sales. The letters may be his idea of going on offense now that House Republicans are investigating his business dealings; he may imagine it will influence U.S. Attorney David Weiss’s ongoing investigation into the same. What it actually does is land—yet again—the Biden White House in an ethically fraught sinkhole. Because this comes down to Hunter asking employees and buddies of his dad to pursue a vendetta on his pampered behalf. Classic.

How’s it going to look if, at the demand of the president’s son, the Justice Department unleashes the full force of the federal government on the people who exposed Hunter’s problematic foreign dealings, including documents that raise questions about Joe Biden’s knowledge of those affairs? Or if Ms. Jennings—a self-proclaimed lifelong friend of the Bidens who once worked under Hunter’s brother, Beau—snaps to command? Or if the IRS—with all its baggage—moves to strip the status of a conservative nonprofit at Hunter’s insistence?

The mainstream media only last year roused itself to acknowledge that the laptop was real. These letters constitute further omelet on the faces of those who spent so long denying. Let’s see if the liberal press can now bother to point out the unseemly ethics of the president’s progeny demanding that federal and state law enforcement jail his critics. The Big Guy just can’t shake his Hunter problem.
