How Does It Work?

I'm curious on the whole process.

Do I just walk in Barubola or THC Tokyo and point to what I want as a foreigner? Do these places require to show ID? Since I'm a bit uncomfortable with that such as the online bookings.

Looking in the Shinjuku area. I've been lucky to experience world class Korean NURU so any recommendations in this area would be great too.

A lot of post are out of date so cant tell.
It will vary from service to service, but THC is very much built around being as foreigner friendly as possible.

For a walk-in/incall (so what you probably want your first time) at THC you squint at the directions for too long and eventually figure out what they meant. You walk in and go up to the front desk (in the case of THC you probably go to the wrong desk and it is a bit awkward but nobody cares). They have a menu (big tablet. Basically just the website) where you pick a girl, pick any extras, etc. And they are usually good about helping you to filter based on english level or what a girl is willing to do (and to try and upsell you to a higher tier). Give them the money and they tell you to wait in the waiting room with everyone else while the girl walks over.

I forget but I want to say they do ask to see ID. Mostly just to make sure you aren't on any lists.

You get signaled and walk down and greet the girl. You awkwardly walk over to a love hotel and she tells you how to handle it (since not every love hotel is foreigner friendly and because she might get a kickback from said hotel). Give the hotel the cash (assuming it isn't a pay in the room joint), head up. You both freshen up (mostly so she can make sure you don't reek or have open sores) and then you get to business. And obviously there will NEVER be any extras offered for vaginal sex and blah blah blah keep some extra yen in your wallet if you want that. I want to say 20k is the usual starting point for negotiations but that is going to vary.

For an outcall? I would recommend trying to organize this a bit earlier (depending on the service either a day or two before or the morning of) just to make sure they are responsive and can accommodate whatever you need. You then check into a love hotel yourself, let them know what room you are in, and wait. My experience is that you'll get called on the room phone, not be able to understand what the person is saying, and then there will be a knock on the door and it is your girl for the evening. Same procedure from there. No ID.

And if you want Nuru? It isn't in Shinjuku, but I can't recommend GFE Soapland (formerly Paradise Kawasaki) enough. Out in Kawasaki but you get the full soapland experience (which basically means guaranteed vaginal sex so long as you aren't an asshole or have open sores) without the awkward dance and negotiation. Again, I want to say they wanted to see ID but it was a similar "okay, your name isn't on a list of assholes".

It used to be that very few soaplands accepted foreigners. But between the declining price of the yen and just general aging out of the more racist providers, I am pretty sure you could get away with a cheaper option if you speak enough Japanese to get past their door guards. I know that last time I was out there I got called by a LOT of touts who would have ignored me in previous years. Obviously be wary of scams/muggings but with a bit of research ahead of time to know what business the tout is advertising, you should be good.

I am heading back in a few weeks and planning to do basically what I did last time. GFE Soapland for the guarantee (and because there are things I want to do in South Tokyo) and then check out a few delivery health services in Kabukicho and Osaka for the more "experience" kinds of things.
