Monday is Memorial Day. Memorial Day is the holiday to honor and mourn those that have died in uniform while serving.

Memorial Day is for those who died in the service of the country. Veterans' Day is for those that served or serve but didn't die from it or haven't yet. Armed forces day is for those who currently serve.



Thanks for the shout out, but this isn't my holiday, nor anyone who likely can type to you here.

i had an uncle who served in viet nam... he came home so screwed up, he losr his wife n kids and eventually became homeless and died on a park bench in winter!

This could have been me. My first wife died right after Nam and left me with children, or I would have gone crazy. We all have had hard times: the lucky ones have someone who can help them through it.
