Booking a hotel room as a hobbyist

I'm considering booking a hotel room to see a provider that does outcall only. I don't like to have providers at my residence. Can anyone give me some ideas to keep in mind when booking the hotel? It would be nice to book it under a different name but I don't know if that is possible. Are there certain hotel types to shoot for for such an excursion? Sorry if this is too general a question but maybe it will get some ideas flowing.

As a guy doing the booking, you shouldn't have to worry all that much. You will have 1 provider over at a later "specific" time. Pretty easy to keep this discrete. When she arrives, you can leave the door cracked if you wish so she won't knock.

If you were nervous about having your personal belongings (computer, wallet, ID, etc), you can leave that out in the car (I put things in the trunk) during that short period....or you can hide those belongings. As long as you are not the one gone into the bathroom for an extended period of time, she won't go looking for those.

On the desk right next to the bed should be the condoms and the donation so nothing should be mentioned about that.

All and All, being the guy having the lady over at the hotel is really nothing to worry about as long as you are quiet and discrete.

Very few hotels/motels will let you get by on a fake name and those hotels are not the type most providers are willing to come to for an outcall.

Personally as a single guy, I don't worry about a paper trail but if you have someone else in your life who is looking at your credit card statements it could be an issue.

The suitable type of hotel really depends on the provider you are seeing. Don't invite a $300+/hr provider to the local Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn, nor invite the $60 BP girl to the Ritz or Hilton. Priceline and Hotwire are good options for getting a nice hotel at pretty reasonable price.

+1 to all of the above, and ...

Ideally, since you are paying for and booking the room, you should see if the provider might give you an adjustment on her rate; but if not, not a big deal.

However, imo a gent should never book a room in his name (RW or otherwise) and then give the room to the provider for her further use. Very risky!
INSIST! that you are given a room that has NO inside door that goes to the next room. Adjoining door is what I think it is called.
Book for two people. Hotels/motels are on the look out for people that under book.
You have to show your Drivers License and credit card.
It is not illegal to have two people 'hook up' or to have an e.g an 'affair'

Also, preferably have a different credit card billed at a different address eg your work, to use for such purposes, also do paperless billing for such card/s

That way the bills will not land up on your dining table at home

A different issue for someone like me in a very small tri city area. Got the billing thing pretty much covered. But concerned about front desk wondering why someone who lives in the immediate area booking a room for one night. Or a rare chance they might even recognize me. I once arranged to pay her back for the room but she wanted cash for the room before she went inside to book. We didnt make the appointmet

@greyghost48 I personally think cash is better, but that's just what I've learned in general for everything.

Or, you've got a plumbing problem at home and the water is shut off and you decided it was easier to deal with it by getting a hotel. Or, the furnace is broken, or electric problems, or your house is getting painted and the fumes make you sick.

If someone recognizes you that is a little trickier. But that could happen even if the provider gets the room. I live a ways outside St. Louis but go there especially the west suburbs to play frequently and have run into people I know I know on several occasions. One was a front desk clerk for the hotel a favorite and I frequently used. Shit happens. The hobby isn't risk free.

Pay cash for the room, but you will still have to have a government issued id, and a credit/debit card.
My favored solution is to give the lady some cash and let her buy the room herself.
