Any Trueblood fans in here?

im a huge fan... but wtf eric???
Have yall ever read the books? The books are way better IMO. In the book, Bill is actually an ass hole. He is sent by the queen to seduce Sookie, because the queen wants to use Sookie for her powers. Ahhh...In the book, Eric is actually much different and he is the one who actually loves her and treats her right. BUT we are talking about the show so...I think Eric trapped her, because he wan'ts to use her blood so he can go out in the sun light and kill the gay vampire king, lol! Remember how Bill could go out in the light after having so much of Sookie's blood? What do you guys think? It doesn't make sense to me that Eric acts so unselfish and swears he will not give Sookie to the vampire king, but then he chains her up like that. He could have just locked her in the room. It seemed so cruel especially after he was just so unselfishly talking to Pam about not using Sookie.
I swear I lived and ate The Southern Vampire Series last year. I would finish one book and go out and buy two more and stay up until morning. It's like crack!

The true question should be: 'Who doesn't love killer-sexy Vampires?'
Lafayette is one of my favorites too! I really like them all though. As you all can see I like the show it just a little bit too much lol!! Die hard fan over here.

I remember when Eric had bleach blonde hair and now it's much darker. Makes him look more human then before, but then again he's been a different vamp since Godric died.
I just still can't figure out why he would chain her up around her neck after he said he wouldn't give her up to save himself. Idiot, lol! ...any chance he had with sookie is probably gone now. I think the show would suffer if they put those two together. Everyone likes to see sookie and bill together. Anna paquin and steven moyer did just get married recently.

Love me some True Blood... I have read some of the books, but they are too "romantic" for me.. I prefer the show, its more about sex and violence and less about kissy face.

I am on Team Eric myself, but my favorite characters are Lafayette and Russell Edington (the King of Mississippi).

Sookie is hot, but I would choose Jessica (red-headed vamp) over her.

I thought the books had plenty of violence. I like it how sookie has less and less of a conscience. Jessica is pretty hot, but I like pam's character. What vampire wears pink, lol?!
If you enjoy the "True Blood" series and books, you should try some of the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series and the Meredith Gentry series by Laurell K Hamilton. They make the True Blood stuff look tame, especially the metaphysical sex parts!!!

I like the books more, because they show a lot more depth. It contains politics, religion, prejudice, sex, violence, humor, spirituality, violence, psychological meaning, love, gays, you name it! Of course it's southern charm. I can't find any other vampire books like the southern vampire series. I just can't get into the anita blake or laurel k hamilton books. I love them both...the books and the show. I wish I could be locked in a room with sookie and eric! Oh gawd that would be heaven. Jason is pretty hot too, but I would have to stuff a sock in his mouth. He's dumber than a box of rocks. I love bills tv character...he's sooo charming and such a southern gentleman. But eric just does it for me. The book eric, not the tv eric.
