Flooding & the hobby

So how bad is the flooding in Charlotte right now.

I am in Knoxville and on the news it showed disaster pics on the weather channel. Very high waters cars and trucks under water looked like Katrina replays made it sound very very bad.

If too many people are displaced the hotel rates go sky high and the availability is harder. Plus people are busy with repairing homes and businesses. Waiting on insurance checks for reimbursements could be harder to book.

As I booked the room by the airport didn't seem like any issues.

I know the news stations just like ratings I just want legit info.
Cause I am due to come on Fathers Day
I just need to know if guys are going to have to swim to me

Any info from people that are there now would be a help. I know Fort Smith Arkansas was hit real bad I was in a post office in Alabama and people where sending supplies over to the post office because residence could not get their mail any other way. Is it that bad in Charolette?
LOL no floods at all here.........

Welcome to the Carolina's Sweetie! I am a SC Girl born & raised.

I lived n Austin & Dallas, TX for over 7 years. Girl... I LOVE TEXAS!! I just moved home to the Greenville , SC, Anderson, SC area a few years ago. I will tell you, things on this site are a lot slower than in Texas. I travel to all areas in SC, Lower areas near me in NC & I am only 1 1/12 hours from Atlanta, GA.

Maybe check the Atlanta board while you are here if the Charlotte board is slow? Although I must say I have rocked it Charlotte, NC but that was years ago when there was not so much drama with the crap out there!

Be safe & good Luck!
