Any Ladies Plan on Meeting Markus ('cus he won't see you men)

America's first legal male prostitute started work at the Shady Lady this past weekend.

The brothel owners told The Associated Press that after reading the article, they decided that having Markus continue to do interviews was bad for business.

Some other concerns aside from Markus comparing himself to civil rights icon Rosa Parks?

Well, competing brothels have expressed concerns about sexually transmitted diseases and worry that female customers can't be inspected as carefully as men are before sex.

Additionally, females working at other brothels have expressed concern about Markus' unwillingness to see gay males. The women feel that his choice to not see men "makes the Shady Lady seem sexist and discriminatory."

So what are your thoughts?

As a woman, would you ever consider hiring a man for such services?

Do you view a male working in a brothel as a sign of the times or a fruitless (uuhhh, sorry, no pun intended!) effort for a brothel to gain fame and possibly cash in?

I understand it's not unusual for them to be booked by professional companions. I imagine there's some pressure to preform well for another professional.

Women are increasingly becoming part of the sexual lifestyle. They're comfortable dating younger men, they're comfortable dating strictly to fulfill their sexual needs, and they go to strip clubs, some will see escorts with their husband, why wouldn't there be a group of women, willing to pay a companion?

I think it's fun being on the other side of the fence for a while. It's a bit of a head trip actually. I'm not used to knowing that at the end of the hours, he'll be the one wanting to leave. You find you get the same ego that the men are famed for, "I'm hot, he's lucky to have me, of course he'll stay."

And of course, he'll leave

However, the time your together, it's pretty damn nice having a guy go out of the way to charm you, make you comfortable, and seduce you, just the way you like it. Putting himself aside in a million little ways you'll never know. I think it's healthy to see if from the perspective of the compensating patron. It's also kinda funny to be the one grabbing the check at a restaurant, to the confusion of the waiter.
I was thinking on looking him up if I tour Ohio. Oh, not that Marcus, never mind.
BTW, where is MA? I haven't seen him posting lately.

i wonder his stamina....in the horse breeding world a stallion, if famous enough, can earn a lot since he can service quite a few mares each year...while a mare since she can only carry one foal a year or so (gestation period abt 340 days give or take) is limited in its earning capacity,... while in the world of sexual services..well i know abt male giggolos but well you get the picture....wondering his per hour rate

Oh, how I miss Cole's posts. Wherever did he go? :-<
I can sum it up in two words: Daniel Craig.

I would enjoy hiring Megan Mullally and Kathy Griffin to be my girlfriends, though! In seriousness, if I were interested in acquiring male companionship it would be a more utr route; I'm opposed to brothels in general and the inclusion of males will not change my mind.

Do you view a male working in a brothel as a sign of the times or a fruitless (uuhhh, sorry, no pun intended!) effort for a brothel to gain fame and possibly cash in? Well, it is here, in America: so fame and cashing in are likely its main goals. I wonder if Markus will still be around in two years? Or, better: if he is around in two years, at what point will he choose to go independent?
The brothel is looking for PR, and there are male courtesans, so yes to both questions. I should have become a male provider when I was 21, but alas that was a while ago.

My first reaction to Markus was, I hope he does not quit his day job. But then I realize that really does make me a hypocrite, because as I had mentioned in another thread I did support my first boyfriend for several years.

While visiting Markus would be far cheaper than supporting a dead beat boyfriend I know that my ego could never handle the idea of paying a man for companionship even though that was exactly what I had done in the past just in a less direct way.Men, are usually so much smarter when it comes to understanding the value of seeing a paid companion.

I wish him luck, but I am afraid that Lauren is more likely to be the exception .Unfortunately most women are similar to me when it comes to paying for sex, or companionship .We refuse to pay directly, but will hand over the keys to the house, and our life savings to the first man who comes along that knows how to manipulate our heart.
