Musings on the escort industry

Greetings all!

My musings on the escort industry:

(1) It has reinforced the importance of having a good woman in my life. An escort is a poor substitute for the real thing. I think this is a paradoxical result given how society and the Religious Right demonize the industry.

(2) If you have to ask the question, “Is she worth it?”, then the answer is NO. The correct question to ask is, “Do I want to spend time with her?”

(3) Having a good experience starts with the Client. Treating the lady like a “piece of ass” will result in the lady treating the client as an ATM machine. Treat the lady like a person and it will take you far.

(4) A good experience means that at some level an emotional connection is reached. Otherwise, the experience is dehumanizing.

(5) An emotional connection does not mean that a personal relationship is sought or formed. Personal relationships are of the “real world” and the escort-client professional relationship is the stuff of dreams and fantasies. People need their dreams and fantasies. An emotional connection just means that the people involved acknowledge each other’s humanity - we are not machines.

(6) I’ve tried to assess whether my activities have been damaging to either the girls or to society in general. I don’t see it. I don’t understand why prostitution is illegal.

Just my thoughts.

Before I say more.... how long have you been participating in "The Escort Industry"? We realize these were only "musings" from your perspective... but I, for one, would be interested in how experienced that perspective might be.

But, the more positive the clients attitude, the more positive the experience for both. But, that's just my opinion.

Of course, I can't help but be charming no matter what the client's attitude. But, I'm just special like that. (So special, I ride the short bus).

I think America, as much as I love her, is behind the curve on this issue.

Some parts of Europe have debated the question and after much argument have voted to legalize prostitution. It didn't destroy the country. They just kept going.

I think the USA should too, but it is political suicide in this era to even mention the topic, much less discuss it!

The voters would throw you out of office in a heart-beat!

However, the attitude of the provider also affects the outcome of the session.

I've gone is with a pleasant attitude, but found the girl in a foul mood because she "had a bad day" with clothes scattered around the room and her not even pretending she's happy to see you will drain all the joy out of the session before it even begins too.

Sheeesh, how do these ladies stay in business?

What politicians do not get, is in the end, it may be hurting their districts with regards to money spent on tourism and entertainment.

For example, back when Deadwood first started on HBO there was still a completely legal brothel in the Black Hills. Being a history buff, I considered visiting the area while doing a camping tour out west and was very excited about including that region in my vacation.

The brothel was in an actual old west saloon complete with characters and dancing girls.

A few weeks in during the show, it seems all the attention sent record tourists to the region as the result of the show politicians felt pressure to close down the place and close the legal loophole that had allowed the brothel to stay open since the 1800's.

Can you imagine what an experience that would have been, before the killjoys squashed it?

It changed my travel plans.

If for any reason one's having a bad day, don't see the client (companion). As simple as that.

If and when escorting feels like another 9-5 job, then it's time to close this chapter of one's life and find another hobby.
I agree. And just to be clear (even though I was being silly about the rule and page #s) I wasn't being sarcastic. I was serious. A professional should be on their best behavior at all times. If that's too difficult they do need to find a new line of work. 'Cause this work is supposed to be fun. After all, we are in the entertainment field.
