Joan Rivers Dies

There was always a very high energy level associated with Joan Rivers that it was sometimes hard just to keep up with her barrage of comedy, but sadly she has passed away.

So what was your favorite joke or skit from this bombastic comedian?

. . . I mean can we talk?

Well, not everyone loved Joan because of her often caustic sense of humor, but to me she was always entertaining and uniquely creative in developing her own brand of material.

One of my favorite jokes that she threw out on the Tonight Show once dealt about how cheap the airlines are becoming.

. . . She said that now the airlines do not even provide toilets to economy class anymore, but they would instead hand you a Styrofoam cup that said "Ocupdo" on it and I still get a laugh out of that one!

She was a monument to the fact that old people shouldn't be on unscripted TV...good riddance...

Well, you're entitled to your misguided opinion regardless of how provincial it may be.

Just do not forget that your little opinion does not reflect a universal truth.

. . . Doing stand-up comedy for a living is not easy, but there have been a few comedic geniuses who brought us much laughter with their brilliant observations. Personally, I think we should applaud their efforts rather than speaking ill of the dead.
