Tucson Arizona visit :)

Tuscon will be a town I'm visiting on my way to Yuma and was just wondering what are the good areas and hotels? Where do I avoid? Any info is appreciated, you can pm me or reply here!

Not sure how much you want to spend, but the resorts are all going to be at high winter prices (Ventana, La Paloma, Starr Pass, etc). There is a nice Embassy Suites near Campbell and Skyline, and Aloft at Speedway and Campbell near the UA. If you want cheaper, there are lots of regular chain hotels along I-10. Recommend staying north of Broadway, and out of the downtown area. Safe travels!

One option: NW side along I-10 as you start getting into Marana, there's a cluster of mid-level hotels and restaurants. Safe, busy enough for good cover, easy access. The farther off the highway you go in Tucson, the more of a pain it can be to get around.
