ID Theft? Mail stolen from at complex...

berkleigh, Nicole -- PoppyToyota makes an excellent point: Getting an existing account or credit line "cleaned out" is the least of your worries. My younger daughter was a victim of ID theft, and didn't find out until many years later, when she started opening accounts, applying for loans, etc. -- don't know how, but somebody got enough info on her to apply for a home loan under her name; at the time, she was only 12 years old!
