You just have to love it. Obamas agent says he was born in Kenya

In 1991 Obama had his first book published and to sell the sordid tale Obama's literary agent listed his client as having been born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia before becoming the first Afro-American president of the Harvard Law Review.

On one hand there are too many smoking guns around this issue for it not to have some merit. On the other hand, his mother was a US citizen so as far as I know it doesn't matter where he is born. His mother's citizenship automatically makes him a natural born citizen.
There are the other stories that say he had to renounce his citizenship in order to attend the better (Islamic) schools in Indonesia. How could he renounce what he didn't have if that was the case.
The thing that disturbs me, and what seems to be at issue here, is the pattern of manipulating the stories to fit the situation at hand. It was convenient for him to have been born in Kenya when he was first being published or he was accepted into one of the finest law schools in the country but when it came to running for President the whole Kenyan born thing was more that a lot of people were unwilling to accept because of their ignorance of what makes a natural born citizen. So to overcome the perceived problems that might come up it is now more convenient for him to have been born in Hawaii.
It's the deception and the lies that many of us have had enough of. He knows the truth but won't say it. His handlers are scared to death of the truth because of the damage control they will have to do. Right or wrong if it was proven that he was born in Kenya to a US citizen mother many people would believe him not to be a natural born US citizen. The thing is that if he is willing to lie about this what else is he willing to lie about. I think we already know the answer to that is "whatever it takes".
