I’m looking for a little more insight on the MacDonald Highlands community in Henderson, NV. The area looks nice and the realtor was filling me with the warm and fuzzy typical I want to sell this house to you so I’ll tell you what you want to hear crap.

Don’t get me wrong I love the house and it’s been purchased already so it doesn’t matter I’m single and ready to mingle. I’m really just looking for some insight on the area in general from a Vegas local’s perspective or from someone that knows the area well.

Is that the area at the south end of Stephanie St near the gulf course? If so, then I first must say, you rich bastard!!! Hahaha Invite me to your housewarming party. I'll bring you Dylan as a present! Jokes aside, if that's the area I think it is, then yeah the general area is safe and centrally located... I don't know if you need specific info about the area or not. Let me know what you need to know & I'll do my best.

Yeah that would be the correct area, the Dragonridge golf course is in that community I think. I figured it was a safe area but I guess it would be nice to know what’s close to there like bar’s pubs, things to do besides the strip, grocery stores, etc.

I don’t know that area at all other than that’s where my house is LOL. As far as house warming parties go, I don’t know anyone in Vegas as of yet so that’s going to be one weak boring ass party LOL. HOWEVER I have been known to have a party or 6 in my day so once I start meeting people that may be an option LOL

Your best bet is hopping on 215 and a couple of exits to the west, get off Green Valley Pkwy. Make a left and at the first light to your right is The District with quite a few shops, restaurants, bars, etc. They're doing construction work there until early October so it's not as open and inviting as it used to be, but businesses are all open and good to go. This open mall is right next to Green Valley Ranch Resort. Nice hotel/casino.

At that same light, you make a left and you'll have another few restaurants and shops and of course Wholefood Market which is great. I find myself shopping there at least twice a week.

On 215, you can continue west to Eastern. Go south on Eastern and there's a TON of shops, restaurants, and businesses. Depending on what exactly you're looking for, you should be able to find it on Eastern.

Oh and if you live in Henderson & don't go to Queen Vixen, I think you'll be in violation of some kind of a law! And somehow you strike me as a man who deals with law & legal matters. Call it a hunch Henderson has the highest concentration of AMP's in one city anywhere I think.

If you need any more specific info, feel free to pm me instead also.

I appreciate you taking the time to give me some direction in the area. I will absolutely send ya a PM with more questions when I get out there for good.

Sounds to me you live in the general area?

No friends in Vegas? WTF are we?

Although I'm stuck in Pahdump (lol), we should still consider meeting for a beer at Twin Peaks in Vegas or somewhere and share hobby stories. LMK.
