In a panic

I met a woman off one of the chatlines.....I know. Met her after some chatting a week later at her place. After a little oral on her she wants me to take her to a friends place. After a couple stops, I drop her off at her house. Now today I get am email asking for money or she goes to the police. She says I beat her up.

I am afraid if I pay (she wants it today), it will never end. If I call her bluff, will she go to the police?

Any ideas?

Thanks

I’d call the police and tell them someone is attempting to blackmail you (assuming you have evidence)

Go to an attorney, one that you trust, and give the information to the attorney along with a retainer. Even if she goes to the police, YOU MAKE NO STATEMENT. She has to offer proof.

Should I just ignore the woman. She is not affiliated with this board at all. And wait till she makes the next step?
Does anyone have an attorney on the KS side they would recommend?
Ignore her

That is the way I was leaning. But I was wanting a couple opinions from fellow board members. And would still like more serious opinions on this.
She’s bluffing.

Might be wrong but that email looks like good evidence for the police or to just ignore. In any case, don't delete it! If it's worded anything like that, it's benefit to her is nil.

My 2¢

She is trying to get financial gain from you. The law is specific. If she had a complaint, then she should have made a report. Now any report would be suspect. Filing a false report is a crime. One that judges don't look upon favorably.
