newbie question

I am new to the hobby but have a dozen or so great experiences. Found a provider in my smallish town outside of kc. Tried to make a date and got 1 reply and nothing from followups. She is new an actively trying to build up clientele. I have not provided any verification besides my cell number my age race etc so she has not been able to verify me. However I did have to csncel with the one other local provider I have been with, to my defense I sent her many emails and texts well in advance of our appointment that i would have to cancel unfortunately her cell phone was on silent and my emails did not get delivered till the next day. Needless to say the provider was not happy but let me know the next day she got all of my emails and texts. I am assuming they know each other and she has been warned not to contact me. It's been many days and i tried to contact her again with no response do I let it go as she doesn't want to meet me or try agsin?

Walk. Call a Provider who is interested in your business.

Yep, Walk on down the road. You might leave one last text/email message letting her know you are sorry it isn't going to work out and if anything ever changes she can text/email you. That way you leave the door open if she ever wants you to come see her.

This may be your problem. I'm not sure what your definition of "many" is, but if you blew up her phone and her inbox, that's not a good thing. 1 text and 1 email would be sufficient, 10 emails and 20 texts is inappropriate and can be viewed as borderline stalkerish.

So this provider was initially supposed to have an appointment with you but she said she didn't receive your cancellation emails and texts until the next day BECAUSE her phone was on silent??... In other words, you were probably going to get ncns anyway. She didn't bother to contact you yet she didn't even get your cancellation until the following day... She sounds like a flake and so does the other provider you want to meet.

no sorry Gemma I think i have everybody confused. the first provider(the one i had to cancel my appointment with) was all ready to go, in fact I was supposed to pick her up and give her a ride to the hotel (long story) I did this the one other time I met with her, and had a wonderful time, gave her a great review and was really looking forward to seeing again.
I sent her an email saying I would have to cancel and wanted to reschedule, about 5 hours before our date. 2 hours later when she had not responded I started to get worried that she didnt read my email so i emailed her again. another hour went by with no response and then i texted her and again no response. Around the time I was supposed to pick her up I started to get emails wondering if i was running late, i responded again, and got several more emails from her each one increasingly more agitated. I responded to each one, texted her again and still no reply. then in a last ditch effort i filled out the contact form on her website and got through to her. She seemed to understand and said she never got my emails, she then realized her phone had been on silent and did actually get my texts but didnt realize they were there. She emailed me the next day and said all my emails finally came through. She said she would keep her ringer on in the future and I thought all was well. in my emails to her i mentioned i would still like to see her that week. She made no sales effort or even mentioned my desire to still see her. I feel very bad that I had to cancel but a true emergency came up. i was going to give her a huge tip the next time I saw her but her lack of any effort to follow up on my questions about seeing her later in the week gave me pause and I didnt bring it up again.

This brings us to the second provider of whom this thread is really about. I had one short text message exchange with her asking about reviews she sent a link to one and said she only had 2 as she has only been in the biz a few months. i thanked her and told her i would call her when i got back from a biz trip. no reply to that text...10 days later i text asking to set up a date. no reply. A few days later i sent another text again no reply.
i cant figure it out but am speculating that maybe she knows the first provider I had to cancel with and possibly she was warned not to contact me. i wonder if they know each other because they are the only 2 providers in my town i know of and have seen ads for. So i truly have know idea what happend but that is the most plausible explaination i can come up with. Bottom line i am bummed that she hasnt contacted me because it is a bit of a pain to go to KC every time i want to make a date with a provider and was looking for somebody who could be my regular go to date when the mood hit me. probably a dumb post since i will never know what happened and just chalk it up as a lesson learned.

I feel you man, I"m having the same issue. I've been trying my hardest to see Lariyah (sp) and Dahlia but was unsuccessful. I provided all my info including cell #, name, age, race, the business that I own so they can verify still no luck.
Finally Dahlia agreed to see me the next day, I booked a suite at Harrah's only to be stood up by her. No answer to email, text or phone call.
Until couple days ago I was seen by Kaylen, which was an awesome experience to say.
I'd rather spend my $$$ on the ladies here on eccie because I know it's safe. backpage has given me many problems, I even had a gun pulled on me and robbed.

I had a similar issue in a small town in Ohio a while ago. Apparently the Google number I was assigned was used in a few NCNS's and I got an earful from the only two providers in the area. My problem was that they were the only providers in the area and the SW scene was non existent so I had no other options at the time.

Long story short...I just switched the Google number I was using and 15 minutes later I was able to schedule an appointment. I did end up seeing both providers a few times each over the two weeks I was there and explained the situation to them. Once they realized that phone numbers were that easy to get and that they re-use the numbers when they are released back into the pool of available numbers, they said they would take that number off their blacklist.

On a side not, why would you travel all the way to KC? Doesn't Topeka have some good providers available?

I thought of changing my number amd seeing what happens and decided against it. I probably should get a google number just to use for the hobby or a 2nd cell phone.

I am highly reviewed by many well respected providers so not exactly sure what happened here as we never got to.the verification process. at this point I don't care about one anomaly.

Your other point about Topeka as far as i can tell there's not much in topeka and the ads i see either have no reviews or they our outcalls from kc girls and i would rather go to kc than spend money and hassle on getting a hotel room for 1 hour. The drive to kc isn't that much farther for me.

I get to Topeka from time to time and I usually drive to KC if I have the time. Much better results there. Worth the drive.
