They give themselves away!

This was part of a post by JR in Ember's thread. I didn't want to hijack that thread over this, but found this point interesting:

Okay, I accept that to a degree in some instances. So what about the girl who is not that interested in sex or wants to do it, doesn't get aroused, unless there is money dished out, and in such instances gets those feelings/enjoyment most of us get without that? I 've seen this. In other words they only seem to enjoy it and reciprocate the feeling if there is a tangible exchange of money though in every other respect they see you as a boyfriend as would any casually dating female.

So what do you think? What is going on in the mind of the female that only enjoys sex if she is paid? She enjoys companionship, normal dating, all of it, even wants it, but is only interested in escalating and enjoys sex, and gets that warm feeling, if it ends with the transfer of a fee, but is only in the 'business' in that sense and in no way considers herself a provider and would be disappointed, even mad, without the fee. What is she thinking?

Judging by how some dudes act in here, I could see why women would be cool with hitting it for hitting its sake.

It is likely a variation of commitment issues. Consider for a moment that a woman who is in a "normal" relationship often finds her partner more than willing to be financially helpful. In some cases the financials are completely combined or further the lady may not work at all and be completely supported.

Should a woman desire this financial assistance without committing to monogamy or releasing her freedom and independence the hobby is a very appealing option. The gentlemen come to her. She is assured physical intimacy and financial assistance and she does not have to deal with the burdens of a relationship.

This would simply be one viewport. It is not the answer to the question but a possible answer to the question.

It's a very astute observation. I doubt there is one answer that fits all. But how would that explain only being turned on if paid and otherwise disinterested beyond typical dating behavior? I suppose even that has a parallel substitution, but I'm thinking it probably isn't equated to this kind of provider completely as business.

No doubt, but I suppose along those lines a Sugar Daddy might fit the bill of at least normalcy in appearance. Make no mistake, though, these women exist.

In most instances, it's all about money. Notice how the women are not commenting?

Aside for the possibility of a fetish... One must bare in mind as women we seek to procreate with a mate that can provide and protect. Provide overriding protect in this ever changing society. As such it might be triggering the subconscious desire to copulate with someone who can be seen as a provider. IE: that little white envelope. Hence the arousal in tune with getting paid for intercourse. Remember our sex drives come from hormones and the desire to reproduce. progesterone and testosterone layering atop a base instinct. It would make a good hypothesis that these particular extreme women are more so burdened by their base instincts.

Alternately they could be simply lying and have a relationship at home they don't wish to discuss.

Family, work, relationships, children, finances, friends, personal needs all place an emotional burden on "us". When that burden is removed it tends to make a person feel relieved or happy if you will.

Sometimes protect overrides provide. Hence the common notice of women with abusive or rude or even completely dead beat men. They trigger the subconscious by being perceived as aggressive and strong. As such the primal need to be protected senses this aggression and attaches to it.

The human mind is both complicated and simple in its workings. Sometimes it seems as if the woman is being redundantly stupid but is generally being overridden by the subconscious.

The other possibility is an abused background. If the woman (or man) was abused heavily as a child they could associate the violence or aggression with love itself. So the dead beat non working man who is violently inclined gets the girl. Or the sweet heart of a man ends up with a nagging evil wife.

While I find your story unique, it does not say that your friends dads sister's uncles daughter(or whomever) only enjoyed sex due to getting paid

if there were enough $2 to go on a cruise..lol that's funny whats the cost of a cruise? $1k? hope it took less than 2 yrs to save up
