Truth in advertising - reviews

I think men should start off all their reviews by saying how accurate the providers pictures are. Why is it that only the top 10 % of all providers have accurate pics? Because they value their business and their pics sell them.

I mean the list is long for who takes the time and money to get professional photos done. We know who they are.
I would like to say to them at this time, thank you for being so diligent it is very refreshing. The real professionals even have the date stamped on the pic.

I would also like to say thank you to those providers that take the time and energy to stay in shape. I believe this adds value to their product, themselves.

I followed a review, and went and saw a provider, based on that review. He gave her a decent review. She needs somebody to show her the ropes because she is just starting out but....
The review said the pics were old. Not even close! This provider aged so much that the pics were not a fair representation of her face or body and it is wrong.

Just like poor hygiene irritates our providers, a poor evaluation of a providers pics should annoy men in the hobby. Thanks for listening.

TG - know your reviewer - that does make a difference.....
It is an issue, one I struggle with when I write reviews. I personally am fairly forgiving and I note in the pics what the girl isn't showing and presume that's not so hot. Girls often hide their mommy bellies and such. If it's something I can't stand, like really big thighs, I just assume the worst and don't go. Otherwise, I'm pretty forgiving on these matters and don't emphasize them in my reviews. There's usually a mention but I don't belabor the point since I don't expect women to look perfect.

HOWEVER, you have a perfectly valid point about picture accuracy and right now it's simply open to interpretation which isn't helpful. My admittedly "rose-colored glasses" interpretation and view of a girl may be very different than yours. Yet a relatively objective view of picture accuracy is certainly possible. I like the idea of a percentage of accuracy but we would need a rubric of some sort for consistency. For example:

100%- That's the girl in the pics, found no hidden flaws or issues (and I was lookin')
90%- There may be a couple of small inconsistencies between the pictures and the girl, but nothing major.
80%- The pictures may be slightly old, the girl may not look as good in person, but generally accurate.
70%- The pictures are hiding some flaws
60%- The pictures are hiding many flaws
50%- The pictures are older and/or hide significant flaws
40%- The pictures may not be of the girl,
30%- The pictures are not of the girl, if they are older they are definitely older
20%- The pictures are not of the girl but generally represent a girl like her.
10%- That isn't the girl in the pictures. They are both female and may be generally of the same coloring or ethnicity and that's it.

What about that?

It's a start. Picture accuracy to me is a big pet peeve because it's tantamount to fraud when they aren't reasonably representative and not fair to the girls who are doing it right.

Thanks for putting in into better perspective then I did.

Don't you think our top 25 or so favorites deserve a huge applause for accurate pics that are taken often?
My vote for the beautiful ladies that are consistent in keeping updated pics:
Lil Mama
Staci Stacked
Destiny
Gemma, me ,myself and I
Lindsay
Ari
Sasha
Blake Blush
DallasRain
Bella Love
and....... my mind just went blank

***But while, I'm not TOO consistent at updating my pics as often, I do try to update them when I notice changes. For instance, I gained 26 lbs these past few months and changed my hair color ( which is quite normal LOL) so I updated to be accurately representing my changes.
Most of my pics on my website are 2 days old http://blakeblush.com
One of these days, you guys will learn to quit messing around with the BP Girls.

I do try to keep mine updated. scheduling with a photographer can be... hectic to say the least. Not to mention choosing one that wont turn a swan into a gargoyle (trust me they are out there and I have shot with them before!)

Then you have the choice. to diminish the website/profile by adding snapshots or phone pictures.

I agree photos should be accurate 90% or above (preferably 98% or above) I always say, be honest because for every product there is a buyer. You may not like how you look but someone else will!
Maybe all it took was you starting this thread! There are about 5 ladies posting NEW pics threAds now!! LOL
I have a LOT of brand new pics...but I'm trying to find the balance between the hobby world and my "real life" right now, so I haven't posted any in a long time.

As for truth in advertising, I'm with Gemma in admitting I, too, gained a little "winter weight" the past few months...about 15 pounds...and I'm working diligently to get rid of it again. I've lost 5, so far! Yay! lol

I also changed my hair color, by accident! haha! I learned my lesson about thinking I could do it myself, trust me! It's very dark now...but I'm trying to get used to it.

Thanks for the sweet compliments. I try to change mine about every 3 months. Unfortunately nothing has changed, but it seems like guys want to see that for themselves, and I get that after some of the horror stories that we have heard.
