Where to post a no show?

Hello all,

I'm new to this and mostly just look and read. I've seen lots of rookies get blasted for posting material in the wrong area so before I put up my story I request that one of you experts please tell me where it should go.

I looked around and I didn't see an area that I thought was appropriate. My fault I'm sure. So please just straighten me out so that I can spread the word.

In short, I want to post a 'review/story/update' about a 'no-show/no-response' experience with a provider.

Thanks.

Thunderrstrukk,

Thanks for asking. Since, no session took place, its not a review. Alert section is for TRUE dangers to the hobby community. Co-ed would be the appropriate place for this. If you had premuim access, I would also recommend posting it in the men's lounge area. Always feel free to ask in the ask staff section or PM the mod staff...

Hope this helps....

I personally feel its appropriate to place it in coed after waiting a judicious amount of time allowing for a reply from her about the planned event assuming you have contacted her to ask what happened. This allows her (and other female members who may have some insight) to reply. Just keep it in prose versus using a review template. sixxbach ==> not sure how you guys see it in Austin, but this has seemed to working rather well here in The Alamo City.

So, are the ladies allowed to post in the co-ed when men are no-shows?

Just kidding Love. I don't see why not.
Hold on, I thought that you could post client no-shows in the powder room.

Since, that is not currently an option, co-ed is the best bet in that situation.

SixxB and Dennis,

My thanks to you both for your feedback and guidance. I will post my 'prose' in the coed section. Excellent point, Dennis, about the waiting period...and yes, when I post (in a short while) it will have been 24hrs since the event or non-event as it were. I also tried several times (all of them professional and polite) to get a response/explanation.

I simply want to do my part to warn other gents. Like anything...this hobby is only as good as well all make. By ensuring the word gets out about less than stellar providers and clients we help to maintain and raise the quality of the hobby for everyone. Yes, I realize that I'm stating the obvious but I think it's important to say it.

Prose will be up within the next 2 hours.

Thanks for the help.

I realize that different men hobby for different reasons. Some hobby to get the approval of other men.
Miss Lennox, I don't necessarily think that we (males) specifically care what other males think of us. I think that we care what everyone (male and female) think if us. Bad rep with the community means that no one will agree to see them.

Then again as you stated. Different people hobby for different reasons.
Didn't mean to start any beef if that's what's going on here. When I said 'the hobby is only as good as we all make it' the 'we' I was speaking was both providers and clients.

I am of the mind that unprofessional providers and unprofessional clients are equally harmful to the hobby environment as a whole. And for the record...I am certainly not here to impress anyone. I can't imagine who would be or why...but who knows.

Bottom line...I had a question, I got an answer (thanks again) and I put my info out there to help 'everyone.' I've said my piece. Thank you for reading.

There is no beef or malice sir. I hold Miss Lennox in the highest esteem and have a great respect for her ideas and point of view.

I made my first remark in jest.
All clear. Thanks again.
