Sorry to start another thread about screening, but the search button did not provide definitive answers. I found a thread in the Dallas boards where several hobbyists adamantly advised not giving one's real name or personal for fear of a provider possibly exposing you.

Clearly I would much prefer to deal in an alias. However, from my limited experience I don't see how I could get screened without doing so.

Do any hobbyists get by without ever divulging their real names or giving a work number?

Once you've seen 1 or 2 and they can vouch for you, then you should be all set taylor.made.

Preferred411 is a great solution for that problem. You get screened one time by a reliable, out of the country entity that will check your info one time then discard it and you will be able to get screened by most girls with your P411 profile. You will have to select girls that have P411 at first and get some provider references. After the first few, if a girl jumps up that you want to see, and she isn't on P411 you can use the providers you've seen as refs and never give more info than you want to. I've been on P411 since it's inception and was hesitant at first but it was a great choice and has been a real great tool and a key to lots of girls with strict screening. If you have good oks on P411 most of the time a girl will screen you in a matter of minutes and you're good to go. It will be the best investment you can make to further your hobby experience.

On P411 if you can get a couple to providers to vouch for you, there is no need to divulge personal information to them. Get some references on ECCIE by providers that also have P411 , then get your P411 and you should be golden.

screen is very different from woman to woman. however, there is no reason to ever give out real world information.
if a provider what's more than you're willing to give out, don't. there are plenty of women will work with you so you both get what you want. just follow the suggestions above especially p 411.

and don't forget when you get there your license plate may be taken down so be careful where you park. when she has that she has everything.

most women on here it would never use any information they gained about you. but all it takes is one to ruin your life. is that a risk you're willing to take?

See a newbie friendly provider and let them be the people who will provide screening for you. No need to give out personal information.

That being said, my first provider was NOT newbie friendly, but she was still willing to work with me. Just ask a provider. Can't hurt.
