Why is a Tribute of either flowers or inexpensive jewelry item frowned on by some providers? - In Europe it's expected for appt

Why is it that a tribute of flowers or a piece of inexpensive jewelry brought for a provider is frowned upon by some providers?

I do it as a sign of respect and to help a provider feel special and appreciated.

I lived in Europe for many years and in Italy, France and England the providers wether in or out of an establishment always expect a tribute of flowers or inexpensive jewelry.

To not bring a tribute is a big offense to a provider in Italy, France and England.

All but two providers that I have seen wanted a tribute of flowers or a piece of inexpensive jewelry.

I guess it's in part that guys in the U.S. are cheap and don't follow a protocol of a tribute.

Any thought?

I see that new medicine is working already.
I have NEVER had a provider turn down the offer of flowers, wine, whiskey, lingerie, etc. Were you expecting a discount from the rack rate for the tribute? Did one of the lovelies actually reject the offer?

I don't expect a tribute but it is ALWAYS nice to get one. Especially when its from a regular who has been listening and paying attention to my likes and dislikes. I remember things about my clients likes and dislikes in sessions and make it special for them, so its nice when I get the same treatment back.

Keep being who you are Honey.
Don't change for someone else.
It's guilt, pure and simple. The thought of accepting more than your money and your medically/chemically/office-supply enhanced rod was more than they could bear.

I would think that cash and good manners is the best tribute for those that slay my lust. Save the flowers for someone you want to date and the cheap jewelry for your niece.

You answered your own question, you're in the United States, not England, France or Italy. If it bugs you so much, go back to Europe.

Btw, nothing personal, I just perceived your post as a bit snobby so this is my knee jerk response. Maybe a more well thought out and civil answer later.
Thanks for the feedback Charlottehoney.

I appreciate a woman's feedback on the subject.

Maybe an appointment is in our future.

I will send you a PM.
Bonn, i love your posts! Tribute is a great thing. Maybe ask what a she wants in the future. Or read the showcase info. I used to give my sugar baby gifts (from now on called tribute!). I always knew when i did good . . .

And I wasn't soliciting for an appointment. I was simply putting my two cents out there.
I don't mind gifts but flowers can be troublesome are you bringing a vase. People bring me flowers and im travelling with no vase and they end up half dead laying on a counter.( also can draw attention to your room if middle aged men keep bringing you flowers)

As for the inexpensive jewelry its a nice thought but I can't wear anything fake or containing silver or nickel without getting a rash and I know many people who are the same way.

Cheap jewelry what a turn on. I have idea why not buy really cheap charm bracelet and bring her peace of shit charm each time you visit. to remind her of you. Sincerely Dbbogey

I don't think he meant "cheap" but rather "costume."

As Nikki will agree, it's always best to choose a nickel free option with costume jewelry. That said, it's very hard to buy jewelry for someone you don't know.

And Nikki is also right about flowers. Hard to deal with in a hotel room.
