Hobbying along I-35E, between Waco and DFW?

I recently moved to a small town in between Hillsborough and waxahachie from the Metroplex and I was wondering if anybody has any advice kids or additional information that could be useful to me in this area? I'm gradually pulling myself off the grid and you look to establish a select few special friends to enjoy during the transition. And to keep things interesting of course! Lol... any info is greatly appreciated. Please p.m. me discreetly... otherwise, what would the neighbors think???
