Feds have eye on BP next

It's not the Feds, it's the AG's from 22 different states. I have a feeling BackPage won't be as quick to turn an run as Craigslist was.

They are retarded if they think they are going to get rid of every site one by one. So many new ones pop up in place of the ones they close.

I think Craig's List had more revenue to lose with other areas of its site.

Remember, Backpage was nothing before the Feds went after Craig's List and all the "adult" refugees went to it. Backpage has always been more of an edgy-type site so I think they have more to lose by shutting down their adult areas than they have to gain so they might put up more of a fight.

I agree with the notion of limiting human trafficking and under-age prostitution. It is naive, to think eliminating these electronic venues is going to eliminate the practices. If anything, it seems to me it would drive them underground and make it harder for LE to act against these practices.

But, I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir.
