Location, location, location...

In talking with another provider today, some interesting questions about location came up. I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

For the gents:
1) what's the farthest you've driven to see a specific provider?
2) how much does location within your metropolitan area play into choosing a provider?
3) have you ever turned down a provider once you've found out her location and why? Ex too far, too close to where the SO works, or type of incall such as permanent incall or cheap motel

I'm curious why your ad states $250 PH & $400 for 2 hours like it is a special rate until the end of the month yet your Showcase and P411 ads list $200 PH & $325 for 2 hours. It seems like you would offer a special rate less than your normal rate to re-introduce yourself to the community. JMO.

The location thing seems to get brought up weekly. I don't have any hard and fast rules about location.

out side of Austin

Depends on how much time I have. I won't go into certain parts of any town for security reasons.

Yes, security

or type of incall such as permanent incall or cheap motel
Not in an appt. complex or neighborhood where there may be too many eyes
even a cheap motel is better than that
Hey budman,

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I will update it today. Those are my old west TX rates, where nice hotels are much cheaper. I am a low volume provider so I do not book multiple clients per room. At the beginning of next month, my rates will go A little higher. For me, this works because I cater to clients that are more concerned with quality than price. Because this is my "fetish" and not my profession, I have the luxury of being highly selective in the gentlemen I see. Previous clients of mine will still get the old rate. To each their own.

If you have an issue with someone and it is not germane to the thread's topic, take it up with them in private.
You are right that there are a lot of threads about location. Girls travelling through want to know the best place to stay, providers take role calls to see where the biggest concentration of hobbyists are, and both alike seek advice on areas to avoid. I guess I consider my thread to be slightly different because I'm curious if hobbyists look for the provider nearest to them or if they travel further down the road or city to see someone they are interested in or if maybe other factors rather than geography go into the equation.

It seems that about 2-3 years ago guys would travel from one metropolitan area to another to see a specific provider (not just bc they were going there anyway). This seemed to slow down and it seemed that guys wouldn't go out of their way to see a specific provider unless she happened to be in his town or he in hers. Now I'm starting to see a slight increase in what it was before. I'm not a "major player" in the providers arena and I don't post a lot, but I'm active enough and talk to those who are to notice a change. Maybe it's a conscious decision by hobbyists to look outside their local area or perhaps just another side effect of the changing economy.

Or perhaps I just started another over discussed thread LOL
