So many new folks, and, a couple of really "almost ancient; nah, more historic" faces, too.

Looking forward, I am, to this month's Austin lunch, and, considering some themes coming up in the summer months in San Antonio, curious, too:

Actually, I have scouted several "south of LBJ Lake (Town Lake)" venues that could work very well. I'll survey the crowd in the next invite process for "Southern Leanings."

Not so many years back, we regularly used a very hospitable downtown venue and a couple others on occasion. Except for parking issues, attendance was pretty good. Downtown has changed so much, however, I'm not sure that would work these days. But I'm willing to consider, plus a couple of other north of downtown venues are still in the potential mix.

I'm down with south Austin - especially if it means Daddy's Girl can come - but downtown parking would be a deterrent, so please no where where they think a urine-scented parking garage is worth $20 an hour.
