Nothing like a good ass kicking of UT eh?

UCLA wallops No. 7 Texas again 34-12.

DAMN!

"Thirteen years after “Rout 66,” UCLA produced another stunner: The Bruins walloped Texas again."

Texas looked bad last week yet won.

Today?

I'm thinking that red River rivalry game might not end well for UT.....

You must not have watched the OU - Cincinnati game tonight.

The Sooners will probably put up 60 as Gilbert keeps throwing those interceptions and the fumbles. OU does not look as dominant as they should be, but they will be very ready to play against Texas! I am a Longhorn fan BTW

gloat while ya can NB, it's going to be a long season for everyone. i said at the start of the season Texas wasn't near good enough to go undefeated this year given the schedule this year 9-3 would be a good record it looks like the Big 12(10) will trail only those 'ol rednecks in the SEC for most ranked teams. The league could actually have a champion other than us or OU. Bugeaters are my pick (watch us upset 'em at Lincoln) to win it all only because us and OU are suffering the short-term effects of new QB's and some overall inexperience. As for UT-OU I'd call it a toss-up except OU is due to end their losing streak. if ya know the RRR at all it's about streaks Texas has won 3 in a row and 4 or 5 the odds favor OU on the voodoo factor LOL. they are a desperate lot in Sooner Nation i'm sure they have their scared talismans and are holding pagant sacrifices as we speak to break the RRR hex we have on them.

and I'll remind Sooner Nation us Longhorns not only have an 18 game all-time series lead we have the longest win streak, twice! the bar is 8 games straight

but i'll say this - i'd have picked OU next week just because they are due unless Texas had played lights out like i knew they'd need to. UCLA was a bad match-up if you let them get ahead they'll run it out.

??? Not enough tough teams in the SEC? Hmm, interesting thought. How many Nat champs out of the SEC since the BSC started in 1998? LSU, Bama, Florida, Tenn? What conference has never lost a BCS Championship game? SEC? Hmm, Guess its just a cake walk there.

Records by conference
SEC: 6 & 0 LSU(2), FLorida (2), Bama (1). Tenn(1)
Big 12: 2 & 5 Texas (1), OU (1)

Records by team

Florida 2 & 0
LSU 2 & 0
Alabama 1 & 0
Tenn 1 & 0
Texas 1 & 1
Miami 1 & 1
USC 1 & 1
Ohio 1 & 2
Fl St 1 & 2
OU 1 & 4

So, SEC has the most Nat champions (5 of the last 7 years), Won more than anyone, yet its not tough enough? Just be glad TCU and Boise state are not in the Big 12. It might be UT and OU who?

Oh , Looks whos Been there, done that, more than anyone?

But, your right, its an easy conference.

Note: Numbers are based on a bowl result of the team that was in the conference at the time of the bowl game. Not their current conference. The more common stat (you'll get from the NCAA) is based on current conference affiliation. So, for instance, the ACC would get credit for all of Miami and Va. Tech's bowl wins -- even when they were in the Big East.
