that leaves an icon on my screen at all times. I was thinking about making another very discreet Facebook so that any Facebook users can send me a message and know I get it immediately immediately in chat format. I don't think that you would even have to add me for that.. I'm wondering how many people would actually use that tool.

Don't do it. Not a good idea. Don't mix this world with Facebook

Their chat is so fast though.
I thought maybe if everyone just put some random city, and used privacy settings and a discreet profile picture.

+1 Don't use Facebook in our fantasy world....too easy to link someone too.

Or maybe yahoo messenger and sites of the sort.
Fb chat works quickly, but how many gentlemen would really be ok with using their "rw" fb profile to srnd a message, to make it worthwhile? How many gents have "seperate" fb accounts just for hobbying? ...the number is probably even smaller.

Twitter may be a better alternative to FB... i have no idea how it works or the benefits, though. I just see more ladies have twitter accounts vs fb

Do you have a website? Or blog?
You can upload pix as freely as you like, blog to give readers a feel for your personality, you coukd even have a members only area.

Kik is pretty good. Yahoo too.

Kik is great because when you log out and then log back in, or change devices, it automatically clears all of your history. Great app to use, if you are so inclined.
