ADVICE ASAP PLEASE - DOWNTOWN VS NW MED CTR

So to my understanding, for a reason I still can't figure out lol , the most popular part of town to set up shop is in the North West Med Ctr. I have been in the spot my whole providing career except for that one month I posted up by Ingram.

I have never even traveled outside S.A. because I don't want to go alone and I have yet to find a DEPENDABLE fellow provider to go anywhere with me lol.

Getting bored I am finding myself VERY curious about the DownTown area. I have a best friend that lives there and most of all my real world friends are always downtown having fun. Most of my crowds favorite bars are downtown or on the outskirts of downtown. So moving shop there sounds sooooo tempting !

Yes I understand the parking problems but don't most reasonable hotels downtown have parking for guests ???? ADVICE ASAP PLEASE , I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT! HURRY BEFORE MY CABIN FEVER GETS OUT OF HAND LOL

The only issue that comes to mind for me is what you mentioned already : parking is a bitch

For folks who are employed on the northside, trekking to and from downtown may involve more than parking; think time and traffic issues.

otoh, for those hobbyists who have good planning ahead habits, and, who plan ahead with reliable providers, the time/traffic/trekking issues are significantly minimized.

It would involve a bit of work, so I did the quick and dirty:

Of the roughly 3,000 Indy reviews posted in San Antonio, about 600 refer to "downtown" or "Riverwalk" -- I did not search agency reviews, but there's likely a similar ratio.

fwiw, since you haven't discovered a travel buddy yet, perhaps you'd be interested in meeting providers in, say Austin. Where you could explore short term travel (fewer miles, too) and maybe some interesting potential travel buddies.

I know exactly how you can meet at least a couple dozen Austin area providers in the next month or so.

Do you really want to 'work' where your friends are?

A lot of travelers stay downtown. And some of us locals do not fear it, at all.

I think FL has what the crucible contents boil down to.
You could always find a place thats a street or so away from the center of downtown.
For ex...off caesar chavez/utsa downtown campus area...theres a few hotels w plenty of parking. The prices are a little better as well. Now dont venture tooo far away...then youll be in the "hood" vs downtown
Plus, theres a LOT of gents that work downtown too..will give a whole new meaning to lunch break or "happy hour"
give it a shot!!
If all else fails, you know what works ...medical center
good luck sexy!!
Mixing business and pleasure, never a good idea...
