Need a new job

I was just wrongfully terminated at my job now I don't know what to do it happened at a bad time no money in the bank bills are due. I was a 7 year vet in the service and then was driving semi and doing construction. I got hurt and got into tech field had my own business until crash then went back to driving became trainer and now fired for bs and can prove it all recorded no one would listen I cant last long without a new job. if any one is serious and has good idea I would love to here them. kinda lost right now have no parents to turn to for advice both dead I am early 40 so I need a new career in cedar rapids.

For one I am soooo sorry for your loss, Have you tried other semi driving options or construction ? I know you say you were in a accident so dont know if your physically disabled but thats a start. Try croell redimix, and bill lane construction there always hiring sweets

Pick up a copy of The Exchange. It is a free newspaper, usually at the foyer of grocery stores, Theisen's and other places. Has a section of trucking jobs in it. Saw an ad looking for cement mixer drivers in it and they will train. Also, have you tried Cedar Rapids Transport, they are always looking.
And just to be encouraging, I changed careers at 36, 47, and again at 51. People love to hire old guys 'cause they still have work ethic.
