Triple Crown Sadness

For those of us who follow horse racing this years Belmont Stakes race was a heartbreaking saga. What do y'all think about a horse winning that didn't compete in two other major races? Should there be qualifying prerequisites for Triple Crown competitors?

All horses should race in all three races or none at all.

Lol, we all are my friend. Great story behind him. Wish he could've done it.

he was a favorite.....they seldom win
"California chrome" was inbred thru the mare side "numbered account" 3-4 generation who goes back to the same breeding as "Seattle Slew". Since this is a difficult type of inbreeding thru the mares side is rarely achieved but since the female not the male is the only way to not choke the genetic transmission of ability and since this horse carries that breeding he will perhaps make a much better stud horse than he was a race horse. Yep he will be doing bareback full service sex for much more than any provider here gets paid per client he won't have to be gfe or go a full hour.

Should the rules be changed absolutely not, Maybe he just woke up with a headache who knows but he simply is just not a triple crown winner. Other horses have done it so it's possible he did not so he is not.
The Owner's rant was CLASSIC!

...so much for Horse Racing being a sport for Kings
