My daughter bailed on me this year. I am an every other weekend dad & she decided tonight that she wanted to go home early instead of spending it here with me. I am pretty bummed about it. I'm a lucky guy this year. My daughters are both grown and long ago flew the coop to opposite ends of the country. They both are in town this weekend for a friend's wedding and are still crashed out upstairs. It's going to be a good day.

Thank you, Love! The explanations are simple: Both my girls were here before I turned 26. And I've been clean and sober for the last 15 years, which has kept that wear and tear off of my face and body. I can't repeat it enough - I'm a very lucky guy.
