Lesson for those that drink and drive.

I have a personal experience to relate. Yesterday I drank a LOT. After I decided to go home, I realized I was very drunk.

I decided then to leave my car behind and take the bus.

I'm happy to say that I arrived home safe and sound and feel good to have made the right decision.
What impressed me the most is that I had never driven a bus before. The only couple of problems is that I cannot remember where I left my car and I don't know what to do with this fucken bus parked in front of my house....
I would move the bus to the neighbors. But that's just me.

Take it from the Wolf of Wall Street. Don't drink and drive. Or do Lemmon and drive

Luke, Luke, Luke.......ya had me goin' there for a while.

Funny stuff, bud.

Hey....just drive that bus right on down to Brazil for the Cup, right? I'm sure we could pick up a few futbol fans along the way, yes? (By the way.....you're paying for the gas, too, you drunken fool. Ha!)

Sorry I know you had good intentions with this joke and I can see why some would find it funny. I don't find it funny at all because I recently was the victim of a drunk driver, lost my car and was in pretty bad pain for 6 weeks. So I got a little offended after reading your joke.

Remember the old saying "sticks and stones"... It's just words, they can't physically hurt you. Why does everything everyone says have to be offensive? We need to stop having such thin skin and grow a backbone. If one the other hand, you were being facetious or joking, well then you got me. HaHa

Mods, would you please close this offensive thread. That was not my intention.
Is it offensive to quote someone else about death involving a serious disease that kills loved ones across the globe every day with really no end in sight?

One thing I learned in my life is that who defines offensiveness is the offended. Some are thin skinned. Some are not.

I just apologise and move on. Life is too short and plenty of pussy
I think people have a perfect right to be offended, but it's not up to the offendees to police everyone else. Not EVERY negative feeling needs to be acknowledged and protected against.
