I'll be visiting Platte City at the beginning of July and was looking for any help from the ladies and gents. This will be my first visit to the area and need help finding a nice & safe place to stay.
Please PM me for any help. Thank you in advance.

Platte City itself has limited options, and you wouldn't really want to advertise your location with that much detail. However if you are open to broadening your area, there are plenty of hotels near the airport (10-15 minutes south).

KCQ is suggesting zip code area 64153. Maybe close to 20 diff places.
And just a smidge south of that is a shopping & restaurant development named Zona Rosa @ SW corner of Hwy29 & HWY152. Not any nightlife in that area, but a couple decent restaurants stay open late.
Roxanne's Café in Platte City (and Parkville) has a decent breakfast and the gals keep the coffee flowing.
Other folks, including myself, also suggest "Plaza" zip code area 64112. That's more in the center of the metro area, whereas Airport is north edge.

I was looking on Priceline, Kayak & Hotels.com and found the following places - If anyone has any suggestions or tips? Should any of these hotels completely be AVOIDED or PREFERRED? ...
Harrah's, Plaza, 3 different Holiday Inns, Chase Suite or Best Western
I do prefer suite hotels that are pet friendly. I have a tiny travelling buddy, but he stays in his cage most of the time when travelling. LOL
Lion or Tiger?

LOL - I don't think either of those would be tiny. He's a parakeet.
This is so off subject but I think you have an EXCELLENT rack at 48? wow
